As others have commented, this B&B is an immaculately kept villa in a neighborhood with stately homes and narrow winding streets. Both the inside and outside (the backyard garden and dining area) are carefully tended by Nilan. Nilan made us an excellent cup of coffee as well as a tasty breakfast. Fillippi explained the workings of the public transportation system... More

We really enjoyed returning to this calm and quiet corner of Rome after a busy day sightseeing. The lovely garden and cool rooms were a joy. We did have a bit of trouble orientating ourselves initially because the B & B was off the map provided but armed with a map from the Tourist office we became adept at using... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Paganini in Rome very much. The family who own the property are very helpful and friendly. The property is very high quality and extremely well maintained. It is an attractive building with a lovely garden in a quiet residential neighbourhood, yet not too far from the city centre. The breakfasts were excellent and... More

This is a lovely little gem of a place, a bit out of the way of the tourist bits (which for us was a good thing) in a leafy, tranquil part of town, with gardens dripping with scented flowers, but still easy to get to the centre on one of the many buses or trams. The owners couldn't have been... More

Stayed here for 4 nights with three of my friends. The moment we stepped off our cab coming from the airport, the brisk wind carried with it the wonderful smell of flowers that grew around the neighborhood and park that was just around the corner--a welcome change from inhaling city fumes! We stayed at the Borghese room, I believe it... More

I am very late in posting this review but did want to add my voice to others who enjoyed their stay here. I listened to the reviews before we went and was happy that I did. We wanted to keep to a budget and liked the idea of being farther away from the noisiest central parts of Rome and this... More

As mentioned in other reviews, Villa Paganini is in a good and clean neighborhood, with a lovely park nearby (we only saw one). There are many buses passing by the area, so it won't be a big issue to commute between the Villa and any place in the city even if you are not in the center - just asked... More

Villa Paganini is a gem. We enjoyed the location, which is quiet and beautiful. But what we will remember most is the warm attitude of Nilam and Antonella, the owner, who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. During our stay, our daughter celebrated her 16th birthday, and got a homemade cake and candles, plus... More

Room too small for comfort. Bathroom shampoo, conditioner were large bottles used by previous guests; not acceptable. Our breakfast consisted of prepackaged pastries (one taste only was enough) biscuits in a tin, & the aforementioned grilled cheese. There was yoghurt. Coffee was a definite miss. Never met the owner, who was there. Grounds are lovely.

Couldn't have been more pleased with this place and the staff. It laid the foundations for a great stay in Rome. The owner brings fresh croissants in the morning. Nilam cooks eggs and toasted sandwiches and makes lovely coffee for breakfast; he puts out a great spread. Self service including cereal and fruit available always. Nilam is happy to help... More
