We stayed at Hotel Nerva in May. We stayed in deluxe rooms. The rooms are somewhat small, as are the bathrooms, but they are charming and clean. The upgrades have been done well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location, across from the Forum, is terrific-while the hotel is centrally located, it is on a quiet street one "block"... More

Stayed for 3 day for our 15th wedding anniversary. If you're used to the space of a standard hotel room in the US, this is not your place. If you've come to Rome to enjoy the history, walkability and eternal city charm, Hotel Nerva is ideal! The staff are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were extremely helpful in... We stayed in early May. We used the hotel's airport limousine service which worked well on the inbound journey, our driver was at the arrivals area to meet us with a name board in hand, he did not speak English but pointed out all the landmarks on the way to the hotel, the car was very comfortable. The return trip... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and cant recommend it enough. We were picked up from the airport using their chauffeur service which was waiting for us at the arrivals gate. It cost 50 Eur but was worth every penny, it was quick and saved alot of hassle. The hotel is literally 5 mins from the colloseum and is also acrosss... More

Our first room was the smallest room we have stayed in, we had to synchronise with each other to move around. There was no room for a bedside cabinet but worse of all was the lack of curtains, affording no privacy at all. We complained the next day and we were upgraded to a better room at no extra cost.... First, ignore those photos at the top of the page. The hotel and its rooms do not look anything like that, and can't possibly look like that, whatever the claims. The predominant colour is ochre and dull orange, as in most Roman hotels. For a real idea of the outside, look on Google Streetview for the Via Tor de Conti.... More

I chose the Nerva because of its location and was not disappointed. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Coliseum and the Trevi Fountain, as well as a host of other historical attractions and good restaurants. My partner and I even walked to the river and crossed over to visit the Vatican City. The hotel iself? I booked... More

We stayed at this hotel on our trip to Italy and it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The service was barely adequate and rooms were terrible. This was our first night in Rome and when we arrived to the hotel, we had to drag our luggage up a steep cobble street (which ruined our wheels) and... More

Pros: Updated us to a renovated nicer room for free, wonderful friendly staff, great location, helpful, clean, good water pressure, quiet rooms, and good price. Next to a great restaurant that loved our two year old. Cons: uncomfortable stiff bed, cheapest furniture, unfilling but typical croissant, chesses, cappuccino breakfast. Really nice staff, they even printed out my tour tickets from... More
