Stayed here for 2 nights, picked for location (close to center) and price. At first I was going to say that the customer service was average, but at the end of the stay I realized it was just the Italian way: slightly condescending. This being said, the staff ended up being helpful, but it was always with an attitude. The... More

We have stayed at this hotel for 2 days. We checked out at 5am on the morning to catch an early flight, I remembered leaving my diamond earrings in the room. I contacted the hotel and the clerk told me that he would forward my message to the house keeper. To my surpise, my earrings were found and shipped to... More

Excellent hotel location close to the Vatican. Price was very reasonable. Breakfast was good, quadruple room was great and fit us all very comfortably (2 adults + 2 children), the kids had proper single beds ! TV was small and channels limited. No internet in room. We came to this hotel after an awful experience in another hotel in Rome,... More

Positives. The hotel is located in a fantastic location, an excellent start to sightseeing in Rome. The Vatican was close by and an easy walk. Not far away..also within walking distance are tour-buses where you can visit all the main attractions, the Colosseum etc by jumping on & off the bus at attractions you want to visit. Breakfast was included... More

I stayed here for the weekend and was very satisfied! Of course, when I went to Rome I spent most of the time out of the hotel but I found the area to be safe and clean and very close to the Vatican area where our tourbus picked up . The hotel seems old and European style(small), but it was... More

Great location - can't beat it if you're planning on seeing the Vatican. Once you get to know your way about town you're looking at a 40 minute walk to the Collosseum and Termini, and no more than a half hour to the Pantheon. Rooms were functional - TV worked, as did the shower and hot water. Bed was comfortable.... More

Great location, the hotel is very good for shopaholics :) It is situated very close to Via Cola di Rienzo. This hotel is very close to Vatican too, 5 min walk. No extra fee for the late arrival - it was very important for us. Normal big hotel not far from history, surrounded by shopping :) More

We stayed 3 nights at the Grand Olympic in a corner room which was very comfortable. It included a fridge, large wardrobe, desk, 2 night tables, excellent double bed, controls for outside blinds and lovely curtains. The shower was excellent and lots of towels. Breakfast was a lovely assortment tasty treats including cereal, croissants, yougurt, etc. Spacious living rooms to... More

The "Olympic" Hotel was a happy surprise on arriving in Rome. It is in a pleasant residential area, fairly near the Vatican, the "hop-on-hop-off bus" line and three blocks from an avenue of restaurants with in-street seatings. Even using a cane I was able to negotiate the distances. The friendly staff all spoke English, let us store our baggage in... More

Stayed at this hotel for five nights, October 2011. Positives: Great location, clean, friendly and helpfull staff. Negatives: Rooms very small and in need of some maintainance. Shocking beds, had to change rooms after two nights as the bed springs made so much noise. Shower box very small. Booking stated full breakfast but far from it. Cereal, pasteries, cake and... More
