This is an excellent hotel for location, service and friendliness of staff. The airport pick up was greatly appreciated and went very smoothly. The breakfast is highly recommended and very substantial. The location to all fountains and historic sites within walking distance was great. And the close proximity to Vatican City made it easy to be in line for the... More

We recently spent 6 days in Rome (10/11 - 10/16). The location of the Hotel Atlante (just west of the Tiber River) made it extremely easy to visit just about every possible site in Rome. Most were "walkable" and the walks were very enjoyable! Transfers from and back to the airport were easy with a "free" one to the hotel... More

We stayed at the Atlante Garden for one night before our cruise. It stands in the shadow of the Vatican, so if that is where you will spend time you can walk there from the hotel. The room was fine and surprisingly large for a European hotel. It was difficult to get in and out of the bath tub/shower as... More

The location of the hotel cannot be beaten, but that's almost the only positive thing to say about it, apart from the friendliness of the staff. The first room we were assigned was almost in complete darkness despite the window. The second room was brighter, but so loud that it was almost impossible to sleep, even with the window closed.... we just came back from a trip to Italy this week and have enjoyed our stay tremendously at Atlante Garden. We booked a triple room and it was spacious enough to open all 3 of our very big suitcases on the floor. Though the TV was kind of small, they had cable and BBC! there is also a 5 min... More

This was a great place to stay in a single room. It was quiet and close to the Vatican and I could easily walk into the old city area within 20 minutes. The room was a good size for a single and the bathroom was much bigger than most in Rome. The breakfast was very good and the staff were... More

Great boutique hotel centrally located just a very short walk to St Peters, the Vatican, Vatican Museum, other Historic sites, Restaurants (fantastic restaurant just 1/2 block away), Gelato shop & shopping. The employee's were very helpful with information as this was our first visit to Rome and they made our stay delightful. The "free" continental breakfast was very good and... More

Overall we had a really great experience in Rome and enjoyed our hotel. The front desk was very, very helpful! They gave us information about sightseeing tours and were very friendly. I highly recommend using one of the tourist double decker buses to see Rome. It helps you see a lot, without spending lot of money or killing your feet... More

As usual before visiting Rome, with a particular interest in going to the Vatican, I did my research on Trip advisor and once again came up trumps with the Atlante Garden Hotel. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Vatican and serves a superb breakfast, just what you need to set you up for a days sight seeing.... More

We had a pleasant 4-night stay at the Atlante Garden Hotel and would consider it again for any future visits to Rome. Staff were all very helpul and friendly; the breakfast was very good in a pleasant room. The location is good - within minutes of St Peter's Square, and there are a number of convenient bus routes accessible. Our... More
