I have stayed here a couple of times now and have never got the room I requested. The breakfast is poor and the coffee would have to be the worst in Italy if not the world. Do you believe they have an espresso machine but stew up some vile brew in the back kitchen. More

Hotel location is fairly good, being above the Spanish steps. Subway and bus close at hand. Fairly quiet as to outside noise, rooms large enough. This was our first visit to Rome and the Hotel Sistina couldn't have been a better choice. Centrally located and within easy reach of all the sights. Friendly and helpful staff-who appreciated our efforts with their language. Rooms a bit tired but clean.Bed was comfortable and the bathroom really quite luxurious.Plenty of choice at breakfast.
