I staiyed in this hotel about 2 weeks ago, for a week. At first they gave me a room at the last floor of the hotel, the 4th floor, a small room, where I could'nt have natural light, there was dust in the room, and the in the bathroom there was no heating, it was frosty and the doors from... More

I visited the Hotel Sistina for one night. The room was a single and was on the smallish side. However the bed was quite comfotable and the A/C copped perfectly well with the very hot temperatures in Rome at the time. The bathroom was also small, especially th shower and in fact I had to dry myself in the bedroom... More

I have stayed here a couple of times now and have never got the room I requested. The breakfast is poor and the coffee would have to be the worst in Italy if not the world. Do you believe they have an espresso machine but stew up some vile brew in the back kitchen. More

Hotel location is fairly good, being above the Spanish steps. Subway and bus close at hand. Fairly quiet as to outside noise, rooms large enough. Breakfast in hotel dining room is typical Italian, nothing special and never changes one day to another. Laptops can only be used in the lobby and suffered from frequent malfunctions, poor service. Helpful staff, English... More

This 3 star hotel should have zero stars - dirty, run down and our room smelled like a sewer. I asked for a room change - it stank of cigarette smoke so we stayed in the sewer. The front desk staff just gave us a blank stare. The location was good - walking distance to central rome - but I... More

My husband and I had a 2 night stay at the Sistina and we would never stay there again. We cannot believe that they claim to be a 4 star hotel, 2 star is probably more like it. The hotel is old world which is lovely but it is very run down, in immediate need of TLC. The constant smell... More

Stayed in this hotel for one week in January - very pleasant stay. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the small side, but clean and with a large tiled bathroom. Walls seemed rather thin, you could hear the drains running in the room next door, but fortunately this hotel attracts a "calm", quiet... More

I am very disappointed with the stay in this hotel. Air conditioning not functioning, unproffessional staff and as you walked from reception to lift-there was a damp odour. Hotel is not a four star. More

This was our first visit to Rome and the Hotel Sistina couldn't have been a better choice. Centrally located and within easy reach of all the sights. Friendly and helpful staff-who appreciated our efforts with their language. Rooms a bit tired but clean.Bed was comfortable and the bathroom really quite luxurious.Plenty of choice at breakfast. Would we book again?-yes. More
