Cesar Ritz would be turning over in his grave if he stayed at ths "Ritz". It is also no Grand Hotel in the French tradition. Be suspicious of any Italian hotel or merchandiser which plagiarizes a name - witness "Speado" which is "Speedo" in Italian. Judging by the inferior quality of this hotel, it is certainly not what the name... More

Could be cosy if staff was more courteous to people who didnt speak anything but English.Needs to represent the service available ensuite and not say it is when its not especially since it was prepaid. This caught them off guard as I was told to speak to my agent when in fact I was the agent. So this is the brush... More

Trouble started as soon as we arrived as our reservation, as well as others from the group was not found. they seem not to have a working system... More

I stayed here with a school group for a couple of nights, and compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Rome, this one was fine. The bathroom was spacious enough, and the room was typical in size for four-star hotels in Rome. The air-conditioning worked well and stayed on all night. The food in the restaurant was good, and... We paid cc£45 per night b&b and at this price was good value for money. A great old fashioned comfortable and welcoming, beautiful hotel, let down slightly by traffic noise (this is rome, ai always a priblem) and tinned fruit at breakfast. Ask reception to turn off the room fan system for you overnight if you find variable noise distracting.... More

Fiasco trying to book the hotel online (they don't own their own website??). My room had clearly once been broken into: the door hinge area was all chewed up. Breakfast was a disaster, the coffee is the worst I have ever tasted, not what I expect from an Italian hotel. The bar staff was slow and rude The other reviews... More

I stayed in this hotel prior to going on a Med cruise, and was apprehensive as the location was quite a distance from the city centre. However the train station is just around the corner and getting into Central Rome was easy. The area surrounding the hotel is upper class residential and very safe for walking, even in the evening.... More
