We enjoyed our time spent in the eternal city and part of that enjoyment was due to the comfort and convenience of the hotel. We were close to many major attractions (walking distance to Spanish Steps, Borghese Gardens, Trevi Fountain). The local bus stopped right outside the hotel door, which gave us great access to bus and metro transportation around... More

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Rome and were very satisfied with the hotel we stayed in, the Eliseo. We loved the location, staff, room and general atmosphere of the hotel and would highly recommend The Eliseo to anyone! More

Had a nice experience at Eliseo. It is just around the corner from Via Veneto. The hotel is clean, the staff is nice and the room was small-medium. Exactly what we needed. The view from the dining room on the 6th floor is amazing!!! The only disadvantage for us was the location (near Via Veneto), which may be an advantage... More

Clearly from the reviews, this hotel isn't for everyone. If your priorities are location and value, though, this may be the hotel for you. You can walk most anywhere except the Vatican or Coliseum, and the staff will give you clear instructions to get to those by bus. Also convenient to the subway. Yes, the rooms are small and outdated... More

We stayed there in October. It is a typical rome hotel. Bed rooms small and dark and a little dated. However rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast room is on the 6th floor abnd the views are spectacular. Breakfast was reasonable with a good range if food. The staff were approachable and helpful. Santini the barman is a fun... I am sorry to have to write this review but I felt compelled to do so, as I do not wish for others to be as disappointed as we were. I can only echo the comments of some of the other raters above and it is unfortunate that others have also had such a horrible experience - I honestly hoped... More

I don't know how this hotel has 4 star rating. The place is very dated , such as Via Veneto , a beautiful place but not fashioned anymore. The staff was quite rude , excepted Claudio , a very nice guy always trying to help you in finding programs , restaurants, etc. the location of breakfast was lovely ,with a... More

I loved this hotel. It's stylish, well furnished, staff is very kind and, most of all, location couldn't be better. It's about 30 mts from Via Veneto, what else? More

I don't know how this hotel got a 4-star rating. I suppose when it was new it would have been a really nice hotel, but that must have been a long-long time ago. It should definitely be a 3-star at best. The staff was not rude, but in their effort to act "posh" and professional, they came across quite rude.... More
