This hotel is in a great location. It is in walking distance to almost everything. The Colosseum is exactly where described in other reviews. Most of the staff we found helpful and polite. The "continental breakfast" selection is a bit lacking (canned fruits), cereal, and pastries. We did not eat on the roof for dinner. The rooms and decor were... More

Stayed at the Hotel Forum for three nights and had a wonderful time. Upon arrival we left our baggage and wandered along to the Colosseum which took three minutes tops! So you can see how close the Hotel is to all the amazing attractions of Rome. We dined in the Rooftop Restaurant and had a great meal, the food and... More

It's hard to match the Forum for location if the ancient city, as opposed to St Peter's, is where you want to be. The room upgrades are worth paying for it seems and the hotel does very competitive rates off season with the additional incentive of a loyalty discount if you return! Whilst I'd echo the other comments regarding the... More

we had a great time at the hotel forum. bang in the centre its so easy to get around rome from here. the restaurant was lovely, the view from it was stunning at night, looks right onto the forum. the rooms were slightly old fashioned but that seems to be the style in italy. More

My boyfriend took me to Rome last year, it was the first weekend in March 2011. We flew into Rome and caught the train from the airport into the city then the metro to the hotel which was fun and made a nice change from just jumping in a cab & being delivered. We arrived at the hotel and it... More

Super hotel in a prime location. Room out of this world with friendly hotel staff from the chambermaids to the manager on the front desk. The only downside was the prices in the bar and the restaurant. With so many quality, far cheaper options within walking distance the hotel could be losing good trade by pricing themselves out of contention.... More

lovely cosy comfortable little hotel in a wonderful location. Comfortable beds, small but perfectly formed bedroom and bathroom. More expensive than we would usually go for but we felt it was worth the extra expense for a treat. The staff were warm and welcoming. More

It was our first trip to Rome so we chose the great located Forum Hotel. The hotels rooms are dated but clean with no english TV channels. The breakfast terrace is overlooking the Forum which is spectacular. Its a continental breakfast which was sufficient. The roof terrace bar also overlooks the Forum. Its expensive however.I dont think I'll ever get used to... More
