This is for the Capo Le Case house. Read a few conflicting reports before I stayed here. After my stay I am in the postive camp. I really enjoyed it. Yes it is a bit quirky... with assigned bathrooms down the corridor for 3 of the rooms..that didn't bother me. They give you slippers and dressing gowns to protect your... More

We stayed here in late October 2011. This is a small guest house rather than a hotel on the second floor of an old house on Via Sistina about five minutes from the top of the Spanish Steps. The rooms are not particularly big, but are fine if you are only going to be sleeping in them. They are nicely... More

My 76 year old mother and I stayed for 3 nights in the Tommy Room in late September (her fourth trip, my first, to Italy) and we couldn't have been happier. Yes, the Tommy Room is the smallest, but the built-ins on both sides of the bed, with pull out shelf (for books, my nightly glass of Proseco (!), etc.)... More

My husband, son and I just stayed at Casa Howard, Via Capo Le Case, in Rome and we were delighted! The Green Room was cozy and comfortable, even with the extra bed added for my son. The only area that was a bit cramped was the bathroom, with the toilet being just a bit lacking in leg room, as it... More

Difficulty is that there a 2 Casa Howards, both I think, in the ZTL area. Important to get the correct address for the one you are at. The white room, in which we stayed, is not suitable for a multi-night stay. There bigger rooms. However, the staff and management are absolutely excellent. We certainly appreciated their effort to assist on... More

We stayed in Casa Howard both in Rome and Florence and it made the whole trip very convenient. The special attention to the details (as good soap, fresh juice in the morning, comfortable linens and flowers in the room) made the great difference! It was nice to be back in the room at the end of the day. More

We booked the "American Cousins' Room", the most expensive but the only one remaining at time of reservation. The bed was good and the room was a reasonable size but the dark furniture and soft lighting made it dingy and difficult to work/read. The wi-fi reception in the room was hit-and-miss and there was just one desk chair in the... More

Casa Howard lived up to the expectations I had after reading the reviews. Although just a little bit pricey for just a B&B Cristine who is the caretaker/housekeeper did everything she could to be as helpful to us me as any hotel concierge would be. I stayed in the white room which did not have an en-suite bathroom but I... More

We stayed two nights in The Blue Room at Casa Howard and loved it. It was a little more spacious than most hotels you would find in Rome. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. It's like staying in someone's home. Location is fantastic - within walking distrance to the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Pizza Novana, Campo Di Fiori. The only... More
