First, a word of praise for the staff, all of whom, without exception—chambermaids to reception—were cheerful and friendly throughout my longer-than-average stay. I suspect the problems I encountered were partly *because* of the nature of my stay: 11 nights and a working visit that involved returning late every evening. One comfy chair in the room, or to be able to... More

This is a Best Western hotel so has all the usual features of a chain hotel. Our room was small but smart, clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of Sky sport channels. We asked for a quiet room and were given one on the 3 rd floor overlooking a court yard which had no road noise at all. We... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. Be prepared to use mass transit or taxis. We were in a front room and had quite a bit of street noise. The other members of our group were more in the back so their rooms were quiet. Free wifi didn't work in all rooms. Breakfast was good with a great view of St Peters... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. We travelled as a family of four and shared a family room. The room was clean, perfectly spacious enough and had all the facilities that you need including free wi fi which is a must for our family. The Astrid is purely a bed and breakfast hotel which is all you need in Rome.... More

nice friendly hotel, staff very helpful.the rooms very small, but clean and comfy, did the job!my only complaint is its a good 40min walk from the main tourist attractions.i would also strongly recommend making use of the private car to and from the airport to hotel at 55euro its not cheap but better than the alternative of being ripped off by taxis (some... We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The room was quite small and the bathroom even smaller, but... both were trendy equipped, clean and comfortable. The room was situated into the courtyard. So, there was no noise from the street. Continental breakfast was included and this was served on the fifth floor on the cozy terrace with stunning views... More

It is impossible to sleep or rest in this hotel. The noise levels on this Hotel are unbearable; there is no noise isolation whatsoever. The building is part hotel and part residential (apartments) there is no separation. Floors are marble everywhere but the room (floating floor), very thin walls separating rooms noise comes from every direction. There is wind blowing... More

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The bedroom was quite small and basic but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and this was served in a lovely room on the 5th floor with stunning views of the city. The food served at breakfast was continental style and was lovely with a great selection. The staff were... More

It is a typical BW property. A little far away from the action but its biggest advantage is its located 100 metres away from the tram stop from where via veneto, city centre is about 10 minutes away. The rooms are small. Bathrooms very small. But that again I guess is a standard European future. Breakfast is included and is... More
