The desk staff were fantastic. The location left something to be desired and our room was rather small. The bathroom and the bed were clean, but the room could have used a good wall scrubbing. More

I booked the Montreal for its closeness to Termini, since this trip we had only one evening in Rome before a transatlantic flight and I wanted to be able to walk to and from the station. It is close, and the room we had was clean, so for a place just to sleep it was ok. Breakfast similarly was adequate.... More

Small dingy room, No Internet access in room though was promised before booking. Hot water changes to lukewarm and then room temperature after just two minutes. AC settings cannot be controlled set to 22 degrees celsius be it day or night. Rude staff especially a man named Pasquale, no manager on duty and was told to email him as he... More

Booked into this place after other bad hotel experience. We booked the room at the (free) hotel booking service at Termini station which gets you cheaper prices. When we arrived the guy showed us a small room on the first floor, which we refused. He then offered us for the same price a much larger room on the third floor... More

We are just spending our last night in the Hotel Montreal before moving to a 5 star hotel with a group tour. We are extremely sad to be leaving. We picked this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews, location and cost. Everything has been great. Our room was super clean with a view of Santa Maria Maggiore. The beds were comfortable... More

Excellent location for discovering Rome, very friendly and kind staff, very clean but the breakfast was below par. I do recommend it though. More

Due to a misunderstanding with my friends, I suddenly found myself with one night in Rome without a place to stay! Hotel Montreal was the 2nd place I tried and Pasquale said "don't worry" and promptly found me a spot. I was very comfortable and felt very safe there. The room was small since it was for a single person,... More

We stayed there in march. The room was small but very clean with a great view on St. Maria Maggiore Church. Breakfast is very good if you wake up early. Later the choice of food is very poor. Location is very good-near the metro station.. Stuff was good, nothing special. You need to pay for internet and it was really... More

This was a good place. I especially like that they offer small fridges, this helps you save money by buying groceries etc. Our room was very clean. The breakfast and coffee was terrible. Especially the coffee, (not like normal and wonderful Italian coffee) was rancid. The location for us was a bit farther away from all the major sites. Because of... More
