Dear all, plse don't fell for the photos available on the web, we went there (two kids) me and my wife and have very bad aftertaste - we were ripped off. To begin with, I have booked a Savoy flavours package, that was to include VIP treatment, immediate upgrade of the room, welcome drinks and a dinner for two at... More

Dear Mr Mirko R, unfortunately too much time has passed by since your stay and I really regret not to had the oppurtunity to read this review in time. In time for an answer and in time to avoid other clients to believe you. You approached us by email booking a double room similar to the package that clients can... More

My wife and I stayed here from 16-23 Sept 2011. It was our first visit to Rome. Location very good and easy to get around Rome. It was our Silver Wedding on the 19 Sept and we were so looking forward to our stay. How disappointed we were in our room. Small and very dark. It faced the front of... More

Savoy is a synonym for excessive glitz and glamour, however the Rome's Savoy is rather quiet and understated. The reception area could be less business-like and more opulent- Lobby needs to be flung open and look inviting with a touch of the Savoy opulence. The staff were very friendly and professional. Located in the smartest part of Rome, it has... More

The room was very comfortable, but did not offer much in the way of a view. Other than no view, this hotel was terrific. The location was on a quiet street in the NE portion of the tourist area. Tour buses picked up and let off right in front of the hotel. Staff was very helpful in helping us map... More

Great location and grand appearance (especially in the lobby), but -dirty walls, carpets, curtains - very small rooms and beds - no proper bed sheets - breakfast is a limited choice of fresh products - non smoking room has been requested but not provided Please avoid taking rooms on the 6th floor, these are another notch lower than the rooms... We stay in this hotel every year and it is amazing. From the moment we arrive, the staff cannot do enough to help you and ensure your stay in Rome is perfect. Our room was very modern with an Italian twist. The staff are so friendly and genuinely want you to have a good time, nothing is too much trouble.... More

We stayed for 5 nights and couldn't have been happier. Our room, the restaurant, the staff, the breakfast, all fantastic. Our favourite hotel in Italy that we stayed in. The staff couldn't do enough to help us, and wanted us to be comfortable in the hotel. The breakfast was massive - a huge variety (how could anyone be unhappy with... More

I stayed in this hotel for three nights. When we got to our room we were met by the unbearable smell from the bathroom. We spoke to the gentleman on the desk, explained about the bathroom and the fact that the safe was not open etc. He explained that it would be the next day before the safe could be... More

Dear Madame, I'm so sorry to read your review about your experience in our Hotel! Actually you seemed satisfied to receive the city tour ticket as compensation for loosing your first afternoon time in Rome due to your request to change room. Reading your mystifing description of your stay at the Savoy disappoints me. Please let me point out that:... More

A friend and I just stayed here on 15 Oct for one night as part of post-cruise package arranged through Cunard. I'm not sure what the cost was for the night's stay but it wasn't a cheap package so either the hotel or Cunard is making a nice profit on an otherwise unremarkable and average hotel room. The hotel must... More
