The experience at this hotel was brilliant. We requested room 309 and the kind friendly helpful staff granted our wish. The room was huge i'd assume one of the biggest in the hotel as ive seen people compalin about size of rooms. View from our room of the Basilica Maria Magliore were amazing with the added bonus of the terrace... More

Rome, like London, can be tricky for hotels : Town centre ones are cramped and old, but the modern spacious ones are 20kmoutside the city, this hotel manages to walk the water between these problems : very spacious room ( corner rooms at 301/301, 401/402 probably largest Light buffet breakfast but that's standard in Italy so all fine Nearby a... He was unkind and so on. The nightman was very kind and polite. The hotel is ok, big room and clean, but the breakfast is not for a 4 star hotel, no egg and bacon f.ex. The location is fine, the citybus stops 50 meters from the hotel More

Hotel gallia are in a good location of Rome, close to Termini station and Colloseum. The standard of the hotel are just ok, not better. Our room smelled mould and were not in a good condition. Breakfast at the hotel were not good. Worst of all were the service from those working there, no one liked guests. (except the guy... More

Selected this hotel because of its location, despite mixed reviews, because we we in a hurry to make a booking. Great start - we were upgraded to a quad room and, after having experienced a number of small rooms, we really appreciated the extra space. The room was decorated in a very traditional Italian style which appealed, but it also... More

Hotel Gallia is a great hotel for location and price. Don't expect a lavish room but expect a comfortable stay for a few nights (i recommend 3 nights maximum in Rome to see everything) Room was clean upon arrival and also cleaned every day to an acceptable standard. Front desk staff were pretty laid back and didn't pay too much... More

Firstly the good news. The Hotel is very well placed. minutes from some beautiful sites, minutes to the hop on hop off bus (20 euro for 24 hours) and 5 minutes walk to the train station. Also the evening staff were very helpful and gave us lots of recommendations and organised transfers for us (the day staff were not as... More

We moved to this hotel after having a bad experience with another hotel in Rome, so we were very pessimistic, but this hotel was really great! The location is fantastic, next to a famous church, Santa Maria Maggiore, the rooms are cosy and clean, the breakfast is served on the terrace, so , while eating you can enjoy as well... More

We stayed at Hotel Gallia in July 2011 and have no complaints about this wonderful hotel! This was our first time in Europe and we had heard the hotel rooms are very small, however we found our room at Hotel Gallia to be large with a large private bathroom. Breakfast was great - served on the rooftop terrace which was... More

Although the hotel is a bit out of date, it was clean. Service was good and friendly. Price quality was good. Location: You could easily walk to the main attractions. Main railway station was nearby. So easy connection to the airport. More
