We booked an economy double and were nicely surprised by a good-size, spotlessly clean room on the 5th floor with plenty of storage space and an equally spotlessly clean, roomy bathroom. The bedroom's balcony gave added space and a lovely view of the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with the cleanliness of... More

Stayed here as a base for a winter sightseeing break in Rome where we needed a hotel that was convenient for Rail travel and car rental/car hire as this was a part of a larger European Tour. The hotel is in the process of renovating the lobby and several floors but still keeps very tidy and clean. The hotel had... More

The hotel was centrally located and clean, the staff (at reception) was helpful ...and that is all the positive comments I can make!... On the negative side: No tea/coffee making facilities,in the rooms or in lounge.. No bar, Very poor breakfast buffet, plastic glasses!!!: Will not stay there again!!! More

My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. I liked the location, close to shops, restaurants and just 15-20 minute walk to the Colosseum. The breakfast was good, I enjoyed the pastries, ham, cheese etc... Our room was clean and surprisingly big. (I expected a small room). The front desk/service was satisfactory overall. I would stay here again the... More

This hotel is one of the worst I've ever stayed at. Everything is dated with an air of shabbiness about it. The strangest thing was that I never saw or heard another guest while I was there. Rather spooky. The worst thing was the traffic noise. As tired as I was, I got not one wink of sleep with the... More

Stayed there in September with my family. Had a great time. Very good location. We stayed 4 nights. Many places to walk to ie: restaurants , shops, churches. In some areas I felt like I was back in the 1950's. So quaint and so Italian. Food was to die for. Ask them at the front desk for restaurants referrals. They... More

Not 4 star more like budget hotel. Not good value for money at 90euros per night! But cleanish and great location for old Rome but if travelling alone be careful as lots of unsavoury people and pickpockets in area! Choose somewhere else! U will be dissappointed! Also room was tiny and shower minature and thin wall meant i could hear... More

This is not a 4 star hotel, nor does it live up to the expectations from the website or the price. It is very old and in need of a full refurbishment. There was noisy building work in the front and back of the building and the walls are paper thin. Breakfast was simple but fine. Having not been to... More
