TO AVOID!! We maid our reservation via booking.com 2 months in advance. When we arrived they informed us that they cancelled our reservation because of problem with our credit card (without informing us, they had our tel & email). The credit card worked for the reservation in 8 other hotels in Italy during our trip. They offered us someone else... More

We picked this hotel because of it's location and it was indeed nice to be so close to the Termini for access to trains, busses, hop-on hop-off buses and lots of restaurants. The hotel was clean but in a very old building where the single elevator was slow and tempermental. The breakfast is simple but nice. More

Having read some of the reviews here, I was a little nervous when I was assigned this hotel for the school tour I was planning. On arrival though, I was very pleasantly surprised. This was a very well maintained hotel perfectly geared to our needs. Fire equipment was very well maintained, and rooms were clean and in good order. This... More

The Reception area is deceiving. Once you pass through the door to go to the run down hallway, elevator, etc., you are lead to a room with no remote for the T.V., no hot water to bathe, thin walls so you hear the people right next door, doors broken to the closet, and safe wires ripped out from the safe...so... My husband and I decided to stay in Rome for two nights as we were on a transit flight. We’ve been to Rome before and thought we would take our chance by finding a hotel when we got to termini. The last min reservation counter helped us find this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel has an old... More

Not impressed as we walked in to a fairly nice reception and were taken to some terrible building "behind the nice reception" with a disgusting lift to an bedroom that did not impress us at all.. Breakfast is to run away from.. Stay well clear from this hotel. More

Two nights in January with no need to test the air-condition. Room a bit run down but clean and plenty of space. Not the best english-speakers at the reception, but really no big problem. Breakfast ok. To be in a rough and noisy area, not the worst choise. More

Wow, this was horrible. The hotel's own internet site says that rooms have minibars and TVs. What a joke. Not only did we get a bare room with no TV, no minibar, no phone, no internet, but it also was missing fairly standard things like a means of egress! In fact, our room had no window, no ventilation whatsoever and... More

First of all, if you are planning your holiday in Rome from Serbia, don't ever do it through Kontiki travel agency: they will put you in the hotel you didn't choose, which you are told at the airport (when there is nothing you can do about it :-(. I agree with the most horrible comments I read on this Trip... More

We arrived late and the walk from station dodgy (esp for females). The night watchman does not speak any English and was of no help. He also took our passports off us, which I was very uncomfortable with. The rooms were VERY down at heel, with the lamps being broken, the shower broken and the blanket was simply gross. The... More
