I stayed here with my daughter for three nights last weekend and had a great time. The hotel is welcoming and clean. Our room was very small but had all we needed, apart from a kettle, which would have been nice. The room was cleaned and tidied every day to a good standard. The only comment I would make is... More

I have just returned from a long weekend in Rome staying at this hotel with my partner and am more than pleased with our stay. The hotel has a perfect location, around a 5-10 minute walk from the Colosseum and is situated in a quiet side street, so there is not much noise around at all. The room me and... More

Good, welcoming staff at reception. Excellent location within walking distance of the main railway station. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Good, clean bedrooms that are maybe on the small side, but the hotel is in an old building. Breakfast served in the basement with a good selection of cereals and breads - nothing too fancy. Try and get an... More

We ended up staying at the Hotel Virgilio by chance. A minor auto accident left us looking for a hotel in Oriveto, which we planned to visit, but not so soon into our trip. The hotel is located right on the main square in Oriveto and our view was of the Duomo. The shutters on the large windows allowed us... More

We stayed in this hotel four days to explore Rome in September 2011. From this hotel we could reach almost all main attraction like Colloseum, Trevi Fontaine, Panteon, Forum in 10 - 15 minuts and 30 - 40 minuts to walk to Vatican. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical for Italy. More

This hotel does what it says on the tin. A pleasant 3 star Italian hotel, not the Ritz but it doesn’t pretend to be. Staff are friendly and helpful and the location is great, about a 10-15 minute walk from sites such as the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, and a similar distance from the central bus/train station. Rooms were clean... More

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights with an Easyjet Holiday. Biggest plus is the hotel's location with all major attractions within walking distance. Vatican is best reached by bus though. No 64 from via nationale nearby. Walking distance from Termini railway station. No need for Taxi. Get Leonardi Express from the airport. 30 mins non stop and 14 euros... More

This Hotel is ideally based for a break in Rome. The room we stayed is was compact but not cramped, with a bathroom running off it.(no bath) this was made up beautifully everyday by very attentive maids. Our shower leaked/flooded out bathroom dispite our best efforts with the doors to keep the water in,, this made trips to the loo... More

I stayed here with my best friend for what turned out to be an amazing holiday. The staff were very helpful and friendly and there was someone at the front desk 24 hours. They organised our transport to the airport on our return home and I hope I stay there again! More
