Our visit to Rome, Italy was fantastic, however, not thanks to the hotel staff of Hotel Viminale. An impression of our experience: - During breakfast, a waitress on the edge of a nervous breakdown did not accept us enjoying our breakfast outside on the patio; - Enjoying our breakfast in our hotel room was no possibility either, since room service... we stayed with 4 people for 5 nights in this hotel. It is situated in an old building. The rooms were clean but a little old fashion. The bathrooms were very clean and renovated. Fresh towels everyday, soap and shampoo were provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Taxis were called at our demand. The advised us some good... More

I visited this hotel with my wife for a four night city break. I had read earlier reviews and upon arrival was a little concerned when we were assigned room 90. However, the room turned out to be fine. As others have commented the room was a little small but by way of compensation it had doors leading to a... More

The hotel was average at best, in no way was it four star though it did serve it's purpose. The staff were courteous and mannerly but certainly not over friendly. The hotel's decor was tired and shabby and the rooms small but adequate to sleep in. The shower was ok with hot water though the shower was supposed to deliver... More

I booked my stay in this hotel from 6 of March until 10 of March. The booking of my room worked well. The check -in worked excellent. I was satisfied with the cleaning. The breakfast gave me a good start of the day. The staff was there for me when needed. The check-out worked excellent ! I am very thankful... More

Very disappointing for what is meant to be a four star hotel. Hotel is tired and very shabby. Bedrooms are small and bathroom had mould in the shower. Also you could smell sewers in the bedroom and we were on the fourth floor. Breakfast area very cramped. No bar facilities in hotel and nowhere to relax properly. Would not recommend... More

Stayed four nights in this hotel with our 2 yr old boy. Room was very tiny even though we'd advised we needed a double room with a cot. There was no cot for the first night. Service wasn't bad but they didn't seem too hurried to do anything for you if you asked. Walls of the room were very dirty... More

I booked this hotel because the one I usually stay in, the Sistina was packed. The Hotel is located about 5 minutes walk away from the Sistina and just a few minutes from Termini train station. The front desk staff were always extremely polite and very helpful. The room, albeit not the largest was also comfortable and clean. A definite... More

Pros: 1. Breakfast 2. Location is not bad Cons: 1. It sits on an alley, very dark at night, next to a trash dump on the left. 2. The front desk personnel think they are the very best hotel in the world. 3. There's no hot water in the shower 4. The A/C didn't work, just made a lot of... More
