We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of our 16 day tour of Italy. It was by far one of the cleanest and most contemporary hotels on our journey. The only "hiccup" occurred when we arrived. Apparently the front desk staff reserved a block of rooms for our group (of 30) but did not assigned them. Why... More

As a hotel even though it is good quality, food is unbeleivably bad. So stay here but eat outside. By the way, if you need to sea Rome, this is so far away and there is no transfer option oyher then taxi. The good side is the swimming pool. More

Good: clean rooms, comfortable bed, quiet, delicious food in restaurant, two elevators to guest rooms fast. Bad: reception personnel rude and hostile to people who do not speak fluent Italian. I tried German and Spanish (the only 2 languages besides English I can speak at all); doing this only seemed to increase their irritability and unhelpfulness. Awkward layout among the... More

The Italian reception staff was rude when we asked questions;even if he's overwhelmed by the big number of guests who checked in that day,he shouldn't be.even the waiters were slow in serving our food! Overrated! More

This hotel has undergone extensive renovation, and now both the common parts, ands the apartments. They are very nice! The breakfast is well served, but not very good, is regular. And with little variation, if you are staying several days, is quite complicated. Neighbourhood: Go straight to Via Aurelia, close is maybe less than 200 meters, turn left (southwest)and arrive... Nice rooms with flat screen tv, safe and fridge and balcony. Olympic size pool with bar. Short walk to the main road were there is restaurants and small market. No help from front desk when we wanted to go out for dinner. They didn't speak english, they gave us a map of the area. We had to fend for ourselves.... More

Fantastic stay. Large, clean rooms. Free wi-fi in the lobby. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is quite far from the subway station, however you could take a cab for $10 euro and be right at the spanish steps. Definitely recommended and would return to this hotel. More

I was with a tour group when we learned that our hotel had been switched to the Ergife instead of the Golden Tulip. I was glad that it was! This hotel recently went through a renovation, and it is such a great hotel. The pool area alone is worth the stay! The inside is very spacious and lobby area is... More

The only good thing about this place is that the rooms are OK, clean and quiet. The rest is diabolical - the breakfast is not fit for human consumption - horrible coffee from a machine, stale bread and pastries, no fresh fruit, surly service. Dinner is no better - one night I had no choice but to eat here -... More
