My husband, 2 adult children and I stayed at the convent in March 2012. We had 2 twin rooms - I shared with my daughter and husband shared with son. We had ensuites, too. Everything was immaculately clean. Rooms were basic, but large and quiet. An air of tranquility pervades the convent - bliss after a day of sightseeing. Sr... More

We stayed here in the spring of 2011 and enjoyed our stay. We had two single rooms next to each other. The sisters are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were certainly big enough, clean and comfortable. The WCs were clean. The breakfast, as stated before, was not so good but we were not there for the food. The location... More

i have stayed at this convent on four occasions. I would not stay anywhere else when in Rome except perhaps in August (no air-conditioning). The location means you can walk to almost all of the historic sites in the inner city. The price is great however do not expect luxury. The rooms are basic but clean and servicable. There is... More

On our last trip to Rome, price was so reasonable per person and location so fabulous that we will stay here again. Don't know if they have raised prices since, but for this husband as a value shopper, NSdiL cannot be beat. Also we got an interior room and I absolutely *could not* hear any traffic noise. Breakfast was suitably... More

I chose this place because of its location and it was perfect for me. It's a very short walk (down hill) to the Barberini Metro stop. Sistina Bar - down the street - has great pannini. It's a few blocks to the Spanish Steps and the food/shopping venues there. There's a place to use the internet on Via Zucceli, at... More

My husband and I stayed at the convent of Le Suore di Lourdes in May of 2009. We chose it for it’s location and because we wanted to see what it was like staying in a convent. I tried to find out before we went what it was really like staying in a convent and couldn’t find out much about... More

My wife and I along with another couple stayed here in Oct/08. We wanted somewhere central to the touristy areas, and this location was perfect. We could walk to everywhere, including the often overlooked Villa Borghese park, museum and zoo. Our friends' room was on the street side of the first floor and was noisy. However, their room was huge.... More

Spent three nights here. The rooms have everything you would need, single comfortable bed, sink, table and chair, wardrobe, bedside locker. Good quality towels supplied. Our rooms were at the front of the building and a bit noisy late at night. The bathrooms are spotless and the showers are ok. No television and no public sitting room that I saw.... More

My wife and I recently stayed at this convent the end of October 2005...it was ok with me but my wife threatened me that if she had to stay at a place like this again she would never go back to Rome. Well let me address the positive first. Their location is their only asset. Its within a walking distance... More

I visited Rome last summer with my 80+ year old mother and a female cousin from England. This convent/ hotel was the perfect place for us. It was very reasonably priced, the rooms were newly renovated, clean, and the room my mother and I shared had a private bath. The included breakfast was served in a lovely diningroom complete with...
