It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! If it was presented with 1 star, I would accept it as normal. I usually stay at 3 star hotels, sometimes at 4 star and what I saw here was far far away from a 3 star category. The walls were scratched, the ceiling has mould, the towels were torn,... More

The breakfast was very poor. The milk was from a machine with terrible taste. Everything was dirty and worn-out which you can see on my pictures. You need to pay a deposit of 20 Euro for remote control. There was mould in the bathroom. The towel was torn. The bed was not comfortable. The plaster of the room was broken... More

We had a room on the first floor near the lobby. It was like sleeping in a dorm room on a cot. 1. It was very noisy due to the location. 2. The bathroom smelled like a sewer. 3. I have never seen towel like this before. They were a little heavier than a sheet. 4. Refrigerator was broken. 5.... More

Room 612, Hotel Center II, Rome, Via Giovanni Giolitti 443 1. Heat could not be regulated. Always at full blast. Had to open windows. 2. No light in bathroom. Had to buy an extension chord to move a lamp into the bathroom. 3. Non operable TV without 20-euro deposit for remote. 80% of key boxes at registration contained remotes indicating... More

We were booked into this hotel through Gate1Travel and were appalled that this was considered a 3 star hotel. The room was just big enough to fit a double bed. And I really do mean, just! When my husband sat on the edge of the bed, his toes touched the door to the bathroom. The bed was a very thin... More

We just visited Rome, and while this hotel had a bit larger room than I expected, that and it's price is about all it had going for it. The desk person went out of his way to be miserable to everyone, being rude, grunting back answers. Day or night he always seemed to be there, and when the hotel locks... More

I booked this hotel, for one week in June 2008, through my travel agent . On the hotel webpage everything looks very nice but in reality this is a 2 stars hotel, maybe 2 ½ stars. The people from the reception were ok, friendly and helpful. I’ve been staying in one of the rooms 4xx, and it looks like everyone... More

This hotel was on par with a hostel, and surely not what I expected for a three star hotel in a nice city. The room was dirty and had no heater, and the staff was not particularly friendly. I would definitely recommend thinking twice about staying at this hotel.

The hotel consists of three buildings and you get allocated when you arrive. We were staying in Number 2. The staff at both (1 and 2) were monumentally rude (hiding from people, grunting, letting you wait 15 minutes and making you feel that serving you was a chore.) We arrived 11pm lugged our bags down (and up again) the slopey... More
