The hotel has nothing to do with the photos that are displayed on the internet. The rooms are really really small, the bathroom terrible! You have to not move in order to have a shower! The place also needs restoration, the wall tepistry is faded. But the worst of all is the breakfast. It takes place in the bar downstairs. The owners of the bar not... Hotel Virginia as its been publicised on the net is actually a very average bed and breakfast. The owner (management) has definitely tried rather not too successfully to maintain its standard and pull it up trying to make it a hotel but somehow it clearly makes you feel the diffence between a hotel and a typical bed and breakfast. The... More

First of all, the hotel is located in the worst part of Rome.. close (but not super close) to Roma Termini Station, so like a 10-minute walk (which at night can get super sketchy since there's no one on the streets but random homeless people and drunk immigrants) Then the hotel itself is kind of old, but the accomodation itself... I was a little nervous about this hotel based on the mixed reviews from trip advisor, but booked based on their unbeatable price. I was absolutely satisfied with our stay and would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly - as long as your priorities match those of the hotel. The hotel is clean, spacious for European standards, and very centrally located. Was... More

we went to Rome from 4-9 January 2012 and stayed at this hotel. the room was small, but it's worth the price. "don't expect a steak when you order burger". the staffs are friendly and really helpful. you have a door which can be open which allow us to smoke and you also can hang your clothes outside if you... We spent four days here in Febuary and it was our second time in this hotel. It is fine for a cheap central hotel where you can walk in safety to most of Rome's sites. Rome can be expensive but there are a few more resonably priced restaurants and bars close by. We also found the staff and the cafe... More

The hotel is conveniently located near the Stazione Termini and close to many good trattorias frequented by locals. The room was clean and adequate but no frills. You have to walk up a flight of steps to get to the lobby. The elevator starts ar the lobby level but can be inoperative if too many pile into it. Basically at... More

First, the worst place you can ever stay in while visiting Rome is this area where the hotel located, Termini. Second, it is not a hotel, it's a wierd place. The rooms are extra small, not dirty to be honest, just in front of the hotel lies a strip club. Third, the transportation from the hotel is really bad, no... More

Decent location, near various embassies. 10 minute walk from station. Nice cheap restaurant just opposite. Fair sized room, quite clean, had a small fridge - all comfortable enough. Breakfast is nothing to get excited about. Not sure if it was just our room, or a general problem, but next door's plumbing was very noisy, and ours was smelly (i.e. occasional... More

Hotel is quite near main train station Termini, which is good for tourists not familiar with a city. The venue is situated in a quiet street, with pizza restaurant in front. There are also free breakfast (1xcroissant + cofee) Reception is in 1st floor and there are no directions, so beware :) Staff is friendly, mainly Indians. We spent here... More
