We picked this hotel primarily for it's central location and very reasonable price. We were not disappointed on both counts, but the pleasant bonus was Kattarina, the hotel's receptionist. Though she is the receptionist, I would almost classify her as a hostess. Kattarina was great with restaurant suggestions and advice with itinerary and directions. But most of all, she is... More

My husband and I stayed here for six nights. We very much appreciated the location; it is situated within walking distance of so many of Rome's major sites that we felt that we weren't getting a lot of value out of our RomaPass (a good problem!) since we were taking less public transit than we expected we would. (The hotel... More

We stayed there for 2 nights in our trip to Rome(Feb '13). The hotel was very small but the room was absolutely clean! and also comfortable beds. There was a TV and free wifi access. The receptionists helped us about city-where to travel and eat, how to go there... They even called a taxi at 3 am ! This was... More

Stayed here with teenagers in Feb. 2013. Chose hotel on the basis of internet reviews and indeed it's within a convenient half-hour walk of many major sights (Colosseum, Spanish Steps and Borghese park, Pantheon, etc.). There is a supermarket about five blocks east on the Via Nazionale and the nearby Via dei Serpenti and its side streets have enough restaurants,... More

Location is great, walking distance to all major sights. Quality was very good for the price. Room for 4 was bigger than usually in this price category, bathroom was nice and everything there worked well, and one gets plenty of water in the shower. Room and bath were clean and neat. Beds were good. There's a small fridge in the... More

As well as a great location, and exceptionally good rooms ( You won't believe this is only one star ) - for the centre of Rome the value for money was excellent. Very close to the Trevi fountain and the colloseum/ Forum and as warm and friendly a welcome as you will find anywhere. Katalin was a star from the... More

Friendly, helpful staff and beautiful rooms. kettle, tea and coffee available in the rooms, a rare find these days. Walking distance from all main attractions. I can only complain about one thing, you can sleep naked as the rooms are extremely hot, even in January!

My mother and I were looking for a clean, moderately priced hotel near all the major attractions in Rome, since it was our first visit to the city. We specifically wanted to stay in the Monti district since I'd heard good things about it. My mom is pretty particular when it comes to hotels, but we were very very pleased... More

Excellent service and amazingly friendly and helpful staff, enthusiastic to provide good information about the city / transportation / local choices. The room was very clean and spacious, towels were replaced in the morning along with the provided cleaning service. Fantastic location, just 10min walk from the Colloseum and Fontana di Trevi area and with a good choice of a... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was 100% wonderful. The receptionist Katalina made us feel so at home and welcome when we arrived. When we arrived she took time to annotate a map for us, and recommended some places to eat and visit. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from Termini station, so perfectly reasonable for... More
