The location is awful and poorly marked. The building itself is in disrepair. The staff don't seem trustworthy and TWICE entered my room while I was sleeping only to leave once I screamed at them. My shoulders and arms are completely covered in itchy bites from what I assume were bedbugs. The bed itself was an uncomfortable pile of springs.... More

The hotel was hard to find, despite having the address written down, we were beginning to think we had been ripped off and that the hotel did not exist as there was no visible signage. Once we found the buzzer by the closed door we were directed to reception on the 2nd floor - we chose not to use the... More

This hotel wasn't within walking distance of any of the tourist attractions. The staff was terrible and even yelled at us for coming in too late. No one was available to help us lug our bags upstairs in the rickety elevator. The breakfast was weak and we even walked in to find no seats because the waitress what sitting down... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and we were quite happy with the rooms but extremely disappointed with the service provided by this hotel.. The rooms are quite nice, quite spacious for rome, with a minibar which is very handy to put some food and drinks in, aircon, fairly new bathrooms (at times a bit smelly due to the sewer gas).... If I had read all this reviews before I would not have stayed there. But the hotel is not so bad for it's price. It's old, but the main complain of other reviews of not finding the hotel is simple, if you write it down the address 15, Via Quintino Sella you arrive in a building which has indicated in... More

This is a shady hotel in an old building that is not marked from the street, hard to find, run-down and unprofessional. Our reservations were made months in advance through Expedia. After several attempts to locate the hotel (which no one who worked on the same block seemed to know about) we arrived there at 6pm to find that our... More

Very enjoyable stay in this pleasant hotel. The staff were very friendly, fluent in English and very helpful. Breakfast was simple (croissants, breads, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, coffee/tea, juice) but completely sufficient to get one going. Interior (courtyard) room was very quiet, as long as you don't mind having nothing to look at. Great restaurants in easy walking distance, coffee shop... More

I recently booked a 4-night stay at the Hotel Invictus to spend a long weekend with my partner in Rome. It was actually 3 nights however because the first night we had to go round the corner to another (2*) hotel because of 'plumbing problems' in the room, albeit this was handled very well with minimal fuss and we weren't... Our trip started off badly to begin with since Orbitz wouldn't fix a booking error between our original hotel. The staff was OK except for the Indian guy who worked the front desk; he was tremendously rude and made us feel like an inconvenience. The hotel is a dump, bad location from most of the major sites in the historical... More

In principle OK, but - The rooms are somehow stylish but not well maintained - The whole building is very strange and dark. The Hotel is only in the 2-5 floor. Rest is occupied by business companies. You have to ring a bell that somebody lets you in. - Breakfast room is too small. People have to wait. - Breakfast... More
