Our visit to Hotel St. Moritz started badly when I rang the Reception Desk asking for directions and was told to ask someone on the street! The hotel is not very well marked (hence us getting lost) and is accessed through a old, dark door (surrounded by walls covered with grafitti) up two flights of stairs. When we finally made... More

The hotel is located near Station Termini and the main attraction points in Rome. The room was dark and there was a terrible smell. Upon our arrival, on the desk of the room, there was a toilet paper to welcome us! The breakfast was prepared and really poor. The building was old and no reconstruction work has been made for... Overall our stay here was very pleasant, the room was comfortable and nice to stay in. Not fancy or anything, but we didn't go to Italy for the room to be honest. The front desk clerk was a bit sketchy and I don't think he was up to dealing with three giggly girls... Breakfast was simple, but everyone was very... More

I do lots of business traveling and I never wrote reviews until today.. The experience at the St. Moritz was simply terrible. The room was dark, kind of damp and it had a single badly working plug. We were two people with laptops and we had to take turns :-) Yet I don't mind this. It has happened before. What... More

We stumbled upon the Hotel St. Moritz when the B&B we were supposed to stay at did not work out. We were satisfied with our room, which was small, but had a TV, phone, and private bathroom. Our room was right off the kitchen, which wasn't optimal, but we were desperate, and it worked out OK for us. The breakfast... More

What a terrible experience. The staff at the reception is very rude. The room itself was terrible furnished, very small and dirty with a terrible smell. The walls were grubby and durty. The bathroom had hairs on the wall and the floor and were teaming the cockroaches. the atrocious breakfast consists of rock hard rools, awful jam, terrible coffee and... More

This hotel is a dump and is vastly overrated at three stars it struggles one star. The rooms have probably not been updates for decades. It's dark, smelly and depressing. I felt I was staying in the dertiest place in the world. The staff is rude and always not halpful. The breakfast is just nothing. If you don't want to... More

We recently had 3 nights at Hotel St Moritz and it satisfied all our needs. The rooms by Rome standards were average size, with a newly renovated bathroom. Breakfast was poor, however there are plenty of places nearby to grab some food on the way out. If you're planning a good sightseeing tour of rome this hotel is ideal, as... More

After long review-reading here at Trip-Advisor, we finally found this hotel. Our first impression was horrible since, to be frank, the building and the stairs up to the 2nd floor are very old - and you start to expect everything... We stayed on the third floor with windows to the patio and it was absolutely quiet. The whole 3rd floor... More
