We stayed 2 nights at Moscatello. Was skeptical once going thru the door to the courtyard and dingy looking elevator but once we went into the small "hotel" everything went up. The lady at registration took less than 5mins to get us checked in, gave us a map explaining where we were in comparison to the sites. Room was clean... More

The hotel is situated close to the underground and railway station, in some kind of a “china-town” with national shops and cafes, which is quite safe – not like the other places closer to a railway station. But it will take you quite a walk to get to attractions. Close to the hotel there’s the best ice-cream café in Rome!... More

The Hotel Moscatello is a very pleasant small family-run hotel (more like a pension, really) of some 10 rooms, on level 3 of a large apartment building on Via Principe Eugenio. The rooms of clean, well furnished, the bathrooms are fine, and the reception is friendly and helpful. There is no breakfast, but the hotel provides package croissants and bottled... More

If you are there in Rome aiming to cover most of the attractions & using the Hotel just for sleep then this is good cheap place. Clean Rooms, Friendly & co-operative Receptionist. Very close to Tram Stop. Not far from main Metro station as well. Fit for Purpose.

We like the location, and the staff are very helpful with everything. They help us to arrange a car to the airport, although there'e a minor understanding after we arrive, overall it's still have a good experience staying there

We had a good stay at this hotel which is centrally located, clean, with a helpful staff. There are lots of immigrants shops around, but beside ruining a bit the image one might have about Rome doesn't affect much.

First of all the location is not all that desirable, but if you can handle different ethnicities you will be fine. Solo, female traveler here and I had no problems with it. The little yellow sign is hard to find, but once you see it and learn which part of the metro to emerge from you do alright. Ring the... More

The hotel was not what it said it was. It was located in a mediocre-to-bad area next to the Termini (thought that was a good idea but we were sorta on the "wrong side of the tracks"). Finding the "hotel" was pretty hard since there was only a tiny yellow sign outside. In addition, figuring out how to enter at... More

I stayed at Hotel Moscatello with my girlfriend during a 4 days visit to Rome in the Summer of 2008. Overall it was a great experience. I'll first start with location which is actually one of the only negative things about the hotel. It is south of Termini train station (about a ten minute walk) which our guide book listed... More

Hotel's location was very good, being near from the centre of the city and the main railway station, Termini. We visited here for a 4 nights and paid 260e. And we must say we are very pleased with the quality of the hotel for this price. Also a daily meal was included in a local restaurant. Also the service was... More
