The best thing about Erdarelli is it's location. A few blocks walking from Piazza di Spagna and Fontana di Trevi. The coffee and the staff were average. The bad evaluations go for the rooms, very ugly and old.

Really gross and dirty and smelly place. The location is great, but it's not worth it. Our room smelled very strongly of deodorizer. They were definitely trying to cover something up. The room was tiny with 2 single beds. The bathroom was large but there was no shower curtain, so the bathroom got very wet when you showered. The wallpaper...

Location is great, near trevi fountain, spanish steps as well as 2 metro stops are 5 min walking distance. Thats about it. Rooms/bath are completely outdated, wallpaper peeling and dirty. Breakfast room is neat and clean but outdated as well. Breakfast less than average, cookies, few rolls, and some pie/danish. Staff, not very friendly, they didn't even welcome me to...

My husband and I have just spent a week at this hotel. We were on the fourth floor at the front of the hotel and we have the following comments:
- room tiny and 'double' bed was 2 small single beds pushed together
- wallpaper was peeling off the walls
- no air conditioning, and with temperatures at 35+ degrees...

I decided to do an overnight trip in Rome on my way back home from a week long trip in Sicily. I booked at the Erdarelli primarily due to the location. I saw the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor but thought "How bad could it really be?" besides, I was only staying for 1 night. Well, it was bad! This place...

Hotel is located within walking distance to most of the sites. Staff is very accomodating and friendly. It is a very old hotel but it was very clean. We had fresh towels daily. If you've never been to Europe, be prepared for a very small shower...it's common. This hotel is a good choice if you want to walk everywhere but...

Hotel was old and a little out of date but clean. The perfect spot to sleep, clean up, and be on the go again. The staff was wonderful, helpful and very friendly. The location was perfect; easy walking distance to every historic area. The Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain were within a 5 minute walk. The Pantheon was a...

Yes, this is what a traveller that hates the "international style" hotels wants! Personality, traditions, the genuine. Pensione Erdarelli is a family run business since 1935. Not much has been changed over the years - thank God. It feels like being in a David Lynch film, old heavy curtains, red vinyl chairs, dim light...
The room is simple but with...

We booked a total of 5 rooms for a family trip. Some of the rooms were good, others not. Three of the rooms were quads (for families of 4) The quad room in the back of the hotel was dark, quiet, and had air conditioning. That family had a restful night's sleep. The quad room on the top floor facing...
