If you've been researching hotels in Rome, you obviously know how expensive they are. I am quite budget concious, so given the lcoation I feel this is one of the best values in Rome. It is directly across from the forum and down the street from the colleseum. We literally walked all over rome from here: Trastavere, the Vatican, Spanish... More

This small, but very clean and suprisingly quiet place, was a pleasure to stay at. The rooms are very basic, but the location is perfect and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Pro: -clean -quiet -friendly & helpful staff -location close to Forum/Colosseum Con: -very basic breakfast -no internet

This is a small and nice hotel , wonderful ubication, 2 minutes away from the ancient Rome, and so from the Campidoglio, and the great Monument to Victor Emanuel, the hotel is very clean, it has air condition, and a smal flat screen t.v. Helpful and kind staff, breakfast "continental"(coffee, croissant, toasted bread, juice and conffiture) is served in a nice... More

This hotel is situated close to the coliseum. The staff is friendly, the room is clean and hotel is cheap. Before the arrival the staff sent an email giving the instruction how to get there with the prices of each transport. Which was very helpful. Adored my stay there and recommended it to all.

The best in this hotel is location. I've alredy stayed there twice as I like it. If you luky you will have view from the windows to the Fori Imperiali. Just 3 minutes walking and you are near the Coloseo,10 minuts and you are on via del Corso or via Vittorio Emanuele. The rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is... More

We stayed there for 1 night in early May - 3 adults in a triple. When you walk out of the hotel, take a left, and walk 50 meters - you'll see the Colosseum just up the street. The location was perfect. The people at reception are very friendly, and helped us whenever we needed anything. The rooms were basic,... More

We've stayed at Hotel Romano a couple of times. It is a basic hotel but in a good location. We have found the staff to be excellent on both occasions. A room at the rear of the hotel is preferrable.

I stayed in three hotels during my stay in Rome recently and Romano was my favorite. For the price the location was excellent. The rooms were very clean and the staff friendly. I had a room on Cavour, a big street, but it was not noisy at all, airy in fact. The location is excellent; up the block from the... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay in the Hotel Romano and hope to return sooner rather than later. The first person I met was the lovely gentleman, Santo, at reception who was so kind and welcoming, My room was spacious and overlooked a busy little street with lots of bars and restaurants. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of... More
