We spent two nights at Buonarroti Home in Rome. As we travelled from Australia, to Italy (first time to Rome) with a four months baby, having appropriate accommodation was the most important thing for us. If we had booked a nasty hotel we couldn't stay there because of the baby, and the risk was that we'd have to waste a... More

This place was a great find for a short trip. Location is excellent, able to walk to all the main sites within 20 minutues. Very close to the Termini station, very close to Hop on-Hop off bus pick ups. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are simple but clean and tidy. Don't expect hotel things like sky tv, mini-bar... More

I can only say wonders about the kindness and assistance my niece and I received from the hotel staff. Without asking, they gave us directions to all the important places and assisted us when we needed to find a specific bank. The room was a little too small and the street was a little noicy, but we could sleep. The... More

You get what you pay for at this hotel. It is cheap and in a good location but the positives stop there. Breakfast consists of a pastry with more icing and sugar than a Kristy Kreme doughnut accompanied by a small cruton that I would expect in my caesar salad - no juice or water or anything else. Rooms are... More

This B&B is on the 2nd floor, with classic tiny elevator, and located 10 minutes from Termini station by foot. Also near a Metro stop- only about 5 minutes by foot. Upon arrival, Silvio was friendly, helpful and hospitable. He offered me an espresso and circled several places on the map he offers to all his clients. I am always... More

My wife & I along with her 83 yr old father, a sister and husband had 3 rooms for 2 nights at this hostel/hotel. We arrived at noon by train to Rome's main train station. From there it is only 4 blocks to walk to the hotel, which is on the second floor. A small lift gets you there. The... More

We enjoyed this B&B a whole lot. We stayed here 4 nights. Rome is expensive, so this was a great value for our money. All we really needed was somewhere to lay our heads since we were out and about all day long. The breakfast was good too...not a lot of variety, but good. We were really close to a... More

- Got this as a last-minute airplane & hotel package. - Per the warning of other tripadvisors, we didn't accept small & cramped room #6 w/c was behind the front desk. But immediately requested and was granted another room. (They noted that we referred to "tripadvisor" as a reason to transfer.) ACCOMMODATIONS: Room #9 was clean and excellent--double bed, 2... More

My boyfriend and i decided to have a weekend away in Rome for his birthday in February. This b & b was perfect for all of our needs. Real value for money and just 400m to the train station it was perfect. The hotel staff were extremley helpful. The rooms are basic but suprisingly you hear very littl enoise from... More

Stayed at Buonarroti Home for 4 nights in September 2007. It was a little difficult to find but not too bad considering we had flown Vancouver to Frankfurt then on to Rome, took the train from the airport to Termini station and then walked with our suitcases to Buonarroti! The tiny old elevator could only fit my husband and our... More
