This was the tiniest hotel room I have ever seen. There was not even room to open my suitcase. The bathroom was smaller than the bathrooms on an airplane. There was one narrow window that faced a wall only a few feet away. With no window light, the room was very dark and the lightbulbs were probably the equivalent of... More

Location: perfect starting point for almost any Rome excursion. Breakfast: supposedly served on the roof terrace, in practice served below street level, and consisting of the probably cheapest food they could lay their hands on, including almost stale fruit. AC: sometimes working, mostly not, they were not able to fix this on request. Quadruple room: more spacious than expected (you... More

Stayed a week and found the classically decorated rooms clean, the staff helpful, the bed firm and spacious, and the complimentary breakfast delicious, varied and plentiful. More significantly, the narrow side street location is perfectly safe and couldn't be better for access to all the major sites. True, the carpets in our room looked a little tired, and the TV... We stayed here on our honeymoon and found it a nice, quaint hotel. The staff was very friendly and helped us find our way around the city by giving us highlighted maps of where to go. The breakfast was nice and simple. We had one exciting thing happen though, I think our room was haunted! The TV would turn on... More

We came across the Hosianum Palance when we popped in for a drink on our way to Trastevere. Roberto looked after us and made us (3 adults and three children) feel very much at home. We went off for dinner and while at at locat restaurant my bag was stolen by a hawker allowed into the Vincenzo Alla Lungaretta. The... More

This place is not a 4-star hotel. It's a 3 star hotel. the rooms are run down, it lacks a good restaurant and has no business center. It's also in an alley though the location overall is great. That 3-table cafeteria doesn't qualify as a restaurant. A factory cafeteria has better food and better tables chairs and wait staff. The... More

I have just completed a 3 night trip to Rome with 2 friends we booked the Hosianum Palce through travel republic and the service was excellent. At first we thought the first receptionist to be a little grumpy but within minutes he was chatting and advising us on all aspects of travel and sightseeing in Rome. The hotel is not... More

We picked Hosanium Palace from the favourable reviews from TripAdvisor and were not dissapointed. What was great: - Location - right in the middle of all Rome attractions. Very easy walking distance and public transport. - Room - spacious, clean and with a modern bathroom. Had all the little things that you expect from a four star hotel (i.e. shower... More

Amazing location, we were able to walk to everything, never once took a cab. The man at the front desk helped us out tremendously with restaurant recommendations, suggestions of other fantastic attractions to take in and always so helpful and patient with directions. The rooms were nice, clean but on the smaller side but it's to be expected where it's... More

Slap bang in the centre of everything. The alleyway in which it's set looks shabby but that's the only small negative I can think of. The service was good and our room (1st floor) was huge! Breakfast (included in the price of the room) was similarly expansive and really set us up for the day. HINT: We came into Rome... More
