Lovely small B&B, staff helpful and close to the centre - some lovely restaurants close by.

Cannot rave about this place enough. We spent our honeymoon here and from the time we arrived to the time we left they could not do enough for us. As all other reviews state close to all the main attractions and on arriving we were shown a map and given advice on what to do and where to go. We... More

We stayed in march and found this to be a great location ... 5 mins from colloseum walking right neXt to saint Mary's church round about and 10 min walk to termini . its in a 150 yr old building but done up really well. modern rooms with all facilities breakfast served as a basket of fresh bread everyday outside... Nice location – easy to walk to all Rome sights and Termini station. We had comfy room for three persons and our windows were in front of small church with garden. It was really super to have breakfast with open windows – feel yourself like local resident. Breakfast is not grand (fresh bakery, butter, different jams, coffee machine and small... More

Beautiful building with excellent service. 10 mins walk from rail/bus station. The room was beautiful - only downside for us was that we looked straight out at another wall so very little daylight however as we were only in the room in the evening this wasn't really an issue. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. We ate in three... More

This beautiful old bed and breakfast type hotel in a 200 year old building is perfect for the economy minded traveler who does not demand 24 hour service. There are 15 guest rooms with 5 rooms on 3 floors. The rooms small, but well appointed. There is not much storage space and the bathroom, by American standards, are tiny, but... More

Best service! Best location! It was in the middle of Rome, but at night you heard NO noise from the city. The rooms are all tucked away in the back of the building by a church. It was the best sleep we have had in any city area. They put out nice snacks, juice, coffee and tea everyday for us.... More

My husband and I stayed here for our first trip to Rome. We loved the location because it was off the busy touristy streets and on a quiet side street. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel. Our room was very clean and my husband loved the one cup esspresso maker! Staff consisted of one gentleman who greeted... More

First, we have to point out the great service: the people who run the place are so nice and accommodating. When my wife and I arrived late in the evening, someone was waiting just for us to arrive. He pointed all the main sites on the map and means and ways to get there - the hotel is really at... More

We were really pleased with the level of accommodation and service at Aenea and contrary to many reviews on accommodation in Rome, the staff couldn't have done more for us. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to Termini, Colosseum and we walked everywhere (aside from to the Vatican). The room was very clean, well-proportioned and perfect for our stay... More
