The hotal itself is located in the center of Trastevere which is really where you want to stay in Rome. There is a very delicious Brazilian restaurant at the bottom of the hotel, which served us our breakfast with a coupon from the hotel every morning. The general ambiance is great, however, Ain Conditioning facilities in Italy in general were... More

I recommend that you do not stay in Residenza Belli; this "hotel" does not deserve your custom. As it says elsewhere on this site, it is just a corridor of 8 rooms, with an occasional member of staff available. On arrival we were asked to pay for the 4 nights we had booked, which we did. On the fourth day... More

HELP!! It's 1am and the aircon has been timed to switch off during the night. There's no-one to ring here - they've pulled out the phone plus there's no emergency number to ring anyway. I can hear other guests up - we're all boiling - can't sleep. Tried the window, but there's lots of noise and it's hotter out there... More

When we arrived there was a cleaner just finishing off the last bedroom (eight). There is no lobby or check in area, just a short corridor with four rooms on each side. The room was dark and dingy even with the light on and when the curtains were drawn back it was clear why. The room was not "run down" more... More

We checked in but soon left, The room was run down and not very clean. The toilet seat was broken and fell off when touched. We spent the next hour online in the cafe next door trying to find another hotel, which is not what you want to be doing after an early start to your holiday. This is not... More

We wanted to be in Trastavere, and the location of Belli is good for this as everything was within walking distance or bus to places like the coliseum (too hot to walk!). Rome is expensive for accommodation, so Belli was, while not cheap, a viable option for us as we knew we just needed a place to lay our heads... More

I warn everybody that Residenza Belli is a place where you can find yourself on the street before your holiday ends. I was asked to move to another place with an excuse that bathroom urgently needs to be repaired. When I came to pick my staf and be transfered to a place outside the centre near the highway I Found... More

I just spent 3 nights there and it was pretty good as a clean and pretty comfortable place to sleep. I had been added late to a group and their hotel was full so I was placed here by the travel agent. I got a quiet double towards the backyard and ws quite pleased with it. A bit on the... More

My parents and I stayed in a triple for 5 consecutive days at this hotel. We also paid for a sixth day, as we travelled outside of Rome, and then came back at the end of the week, because our flight left from Rome. When we came back, our room was NOT available. They took across the street to another... More

The girls and me wanted a weekend in Rome to explore the sites and have fun but wanted somewhere cheap to stay (but also nice). Residenza Belli was cheap, clean and the staff are very friendly - perfect. A low point is that the sign for this place is really small, so when you have reached the point of giving... More
