This is a good inexpensive base for anyone wanting to explore Rome. The area has a great selection of restaurants and bars (try and stay off the main street for a cheaper meal) and is within a half hour walk of The Vatican and the Roman remains. The bar next door which serves the breakfast included in the price is... More

Dear travellers, When you go to Rome and want to stay in the city centre go to Residenza Belli! Trastevere is the place to be at night, nice bars, restaurants, small shops and nice (Italien) people. The prices in Trastevere are better than near all the touristic spots. From Residenza Belli is most of the city is to see by... More

This hotel is situated in a true Italian area in the Trastevere. The area has a local market, a renovated square with a playground for kids, is quiet at night and has some specialty wine, cheese, etc shops for the locals. Great for the traveller that needs some time away from typical tourist destinations. The hotel walls are a little... More

VERY basic! One day no hot water, shower cabin fell apart, impossible to read in the room, - even when you take off the lamp shades, too dark. The cleaners are supposed to act as receptionists in the morning ("reception is a chair and a small table), - but they don't speak English. Towels so thin you can almost see... More

This is a cheap and cheerful hotel in Trastevere. All hotels seem to be expensive in Rome so even a 'pension house' like this seems expensive for what you get. It was basic but clean. Positives - Bros bar next door, friendly & helpful. Short walk from Trastevere nightlife. Good place to base for a few days sightseeing in Rome.... More

I made a confirmed reservation using the Residenza Belli's website two months in advance. But, upon my arrival on July 11th in Rome, I was told by the Residenza Belli that - I - had cancelled my reservation on July 9th, which I had not. Furthermore, I did not even have internet access that week in order to view the... More

First of all - I know nothing about rooms and accomodation at Residenza Belli. Rooms may be nice and well worth money - we never got to stay there. I had booked 2 rooms for 4 nights. When we turned up the taxi driver had a hard time finding the property, and when we rang the bell no one opened.... More

Told the person that owns the hotel that we would be late and arrive around 12am. Unfortunately, there's no one actually at the place at night, and no one has a phone number for the manager. So we waited 2 hours for the person to show up and actually let us in the hotel. (again, after confirming that we would... More

I stayed her for 7 nights and found it to be safe and clean. It's in a fabulous neighborhood so for that reason alone I might stay here again. Do not expect normal hotel service though. This is basically just your room to crash in at the end of the day. Even though their website claims 24 hr. service, phones... More

Great Bed and Breakfast located in the excellent area of Trastevere which is the best area in Rome for Nightlife and Eating Out. Our room had a T.V. (no English channels apart from MTV), Central Heating, Private Bathroom with Box Shower and was spacious, clean and comfortable - we couldn't believe our luck after having only paid 60 Euro a...
