perfect location for this small boutique hotel....... service is good, rooms are adequate and location is perfect....... a small hotel sat on a tiny cobbled backstreet - a 15th century building that sita atop the remains of the old roman market ..... the coliseum and the roman forum is just a few minutes walk away......... not a good hotel for... My wife and I took our first trip to Rome. We chose the Inn at the Roman forum based on two things: (1) it is part of the "Small Luxury Hotels of the world" group (slh.com), and we've stayed at several hotels in that group and have always had a great experience, and (2) the reviews on TripAdvisor were generally... Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend and I have to say that we have never been in a hotel with such a good service. Our airline lost our luggage and the hotel made some calls and we got them the same night. Again our agency had booked us on a wrong tour and the hotel found us... More

We have no word to describe how much we really loved this place. From the moment we arrived all the staff members were so kind and helpful. Our room so clean with fine decor. Loved the roof terrace and the garden and sitting on the terrace in the afternoon during the bufffet our with a glass of wine was the... More

The Inn is located down a very quiet alley, and absolutely great for all the ancient sites. The staff all speak and understand English and were are always willing to assist with reservations, directions and transportation, although a better knowledge of local restaurants and there offerings would have been more helpful to us. Although rooms not the largest they were... More

We stayed in the Master Garden Suite. We came from the dinner after 10pm and it turned out that there is no hot water in our two bathrooms. We called the reception and they adviced us, that they restarted heater and the hot water should be back in about 40 min. It was 11.15pm. Our two kids (age 12 and... More

Dear guest, I sincerely apologies for what happened during your stay and as we also discussed in person during your stay, a technical problem came up late in the evening that was then resolved immediately very early that morning so when guest woke up the water pressure had already reach it’s normality. Sometimes problems can come up that need to... More

The Inn is located down a quiet alley. The staff is exceptional. They all speak English and were are always willing to assist with reservations, directions and transportation. Although the rooms were not the largest, they provided all the amenities in a unique location. All the ancient sites were in walking distance - from the Roman Forum to the Colosseum... More

Absolutely perfect stay at Inn at the Roman Forum. Centrally located to all the ancient attractions. We walked to the Vatican and the Jewish Ghetto easily from the hotel. The rooms are super clean and eclectic. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful! Restaurant recommendations were spot on! Can't imagine ever staying anywhere else in Rome!

. The hotel has a beautiful secret garden as well as a roof terrace with views and is situated up a quiet alley just a stone's throw from the Forum. Very relaxing, comfortable and secluded, more like staying in a private townhouse rather than a commercial hotel.

I stayed here this past Wednesday for one night with my boyfriend for work (we both live in Florence). We had a small superior room with the shower and double bed and it was perfect for our needs. I absolutely don't mind a shower when its got an elephant showerhead. Looking out the window there was a beautiful balcony covered... More

Thanks for taking the time to write your review. Obviously delighted that you enjoyed your stay and the shower in the room but sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the breakfast. We prefer to offer fresh egg to our clients made personally on request, instead of having them on a boiler on the breakfast room. I am... More
