We stayed at the annex building. Not quite what is pictured in their website but our room was spacious and has a comfortable bed. Good size bathroom. Free Wi-Fi but a bit choppy depending on your location within the unit but it works. Our building has a 3 man lift. Useful for luggage and erderly companion. Stephanie, her brother and... More

After good reviews in tripadvisor we (2 couples from Latvia and Ukraine) have choosen this place as the best choice in Rome...and we were so disappointed about San Jouan guest house. We were staying in main house room no 6. Reasons of disappointment: The room was small and the bathroom - tiny...for my 1,90 m tall husband it was imposible... More

My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights in March 2012 and we had a blast. The place is very cozy and warm, the host is a great guy and recommended us everything we needed to know. This guest house is a 5 minute walk to the Colosseum and for the price you pay is great value. Even though it's... More

My husband had planned to spend four nights at San Jouan next month but my husband had a stroke this past weekend. I wrote Nestor and heard back the next morning He was kind and wished my husband well. I had previously sent e-mails with questions I had and he promptly answered. You can't imagine the difficulty I'm having with... More

I spent 5 days with my family in Rome and we chose this B&B strictly because it had triple rooms and because another travel website was highly recommending it. We had a larger room with q king bed and 1 twin, plus our own little yard, where we could enjoy a drink in the evening or a private breakfast. The... More

The best part of this guest house is the location, a little bit tricky to find the street itself, but once there, you are a stones throw away from the Colosseum. Service at the front desk is always with a smile and they are happy to help with taxi bookings etc. Free internet and WiFi are also added bonuses. That... More

Booked San Jouan based on good reviews from other travelers and good price (we paid 50Euros per night in December) and we were not disappointed! The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable, although it should be noted that some of the rooms in the main complex do not have windows - might be a bit stuffy in summer (although there... More

Normal hotel, close to the Colosseo. Almost all rooms have no windows! Smells a bit damp.Great sandwiches for breakfast coupon from a nearby store. We had breakfast in the courtyard - parking (same place). Quietly and calmly place.

Location is good:near the metro stop and walking distance to major sights. I did not enjoy the fact that our rooms were actually in a whole different building with a dysfunctional lift - so we couldn't really benefit from the coffee and internet service available at the main b+b area. Overall good value for money and would recommend for a... More

we stayed at San Jouan GH for 3 nights from Oct 6th-Oct 9th 2011. Its a guest house, so it had a cozy b&b sort of feeling. Our room was in the ground floor, it was clean and roomy. Bathroom was clean and updated as well. Overall, we had a really good stay. The best thing about the place was... More
