We stayed one night at Hotel San Marco after I made error in reservation at nearby Hotel Canada. Like chalk and cheese these hotels. Room good size but dark and spartan, there was second room with 2 single beds (good for family). Service good but minimal. Breakfast awful.

Definitely value for money, good location, and nice breakfast. Roma Termini is just 10 minutes away by walking. spacious rooms, great great breakfast, very polite staff and near to termini station also to the castro pretorio metro station!!!!!! absolutely recommended.....!!!!!!

Night staff was rude and spoke loudly on the phone at night and the walls are paper thin. They were frugal with toilet paper (had to ask for refills) but kind enough to offer soap and body wash -often hotels in Europe do not.
