well, the only advatnage of this hotel is its location near to Termini and Bus to Airport. However, you can still find many other hotels around Termini. The worst thing which I saw was that the Bathroom of my room was out of the room! So, for a 3 star Hotel it is really cheap thing to offer for a... More

We chose to stay at Hotel Stromboli after being in Italy for the previous six days, and wanted to stay somewhere close to Roma Termini for easy travel to FCO. The hotel staff spoke excellent English, which was very helpful. However, the WiFi was broken for our two-night stay, and as a result was limited to the lobby area. The... More

I stayed at the Hotel Stromboli as a part of a group tour (and had reservations given the other TripAdvisor reviews). I must say that the location was very good - close to the Termini, so easy access to transport to all parts of Rome. The lobby was pretty. The room was basic, which is okay, but the matress was... Very central hotel across road from roma termini, room very ! small and cramped bathroom very small tiny shower . little bit pricey for what standard you should get for that money in Ireland . over all an ok hotel but nothing to draw us back there again for our next visit we will look elsewhere. The room was clean... More

I have stayed at this hotel twice - in July '06 and July '10. It's about as average a hotel as I've ever stayed in. Nothing memorable - either good or bad - but it's right across the street from the train station which is really great if you have an early morning flight out. The set up of the... More

This was the first hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy. We were forewarned that hotels in Italy aren't what we're used to in the States, so we didn't have the highest of expectations. The hotel wasn't anything spectacular, but our experience wasn't deserving of all the negative comments it appears as though this hotel has received. The... More

Three nights in this hotel ruined what was a wonderful 2 week vacation in Europe. The room was unclean, smelly, small, and old. The service was awful - anytime we complained, we were yelled at. The breakfast was inedible. And the location was unsafe. Never have I experienced such dispicable conditions! Save yourself a lot of misery and stay elsewhere... More

Bathroom was terrible even by Italian standards. Water poured out of bathroom into main room. All lights were feeble at best, bathroom nearly in darkness light was so bad. Toilet and sink dirty. 3 pillows for two beds and beds were rock hard. Street front rooms very, very noisy, location is surrounded by "undesirables" begging and scamming. Fridge did not... More

This hotel was awful. We stayed in room 203. It was supposed to be a double room, but it had two separate rooms instead of a matrimonial, as we paid for and it was very very small. The window could not be opened and the room smelled badly. We couldn't even see outside, so no natural light at all. The... More
