We prefer to stay in the Spanish Step area when we visit Rome and were delighted to discover this B & B. It is conveniently located, spotless, and very secure and safe. We stayed there for a total of 5 nights (3 upon arrival and 2 at departure) in two different rooms. The first room was smaller and facing the... More

After traveling for two weeks through Sicily we were looking forward to spending a few days of rest in Rome. What a huge disappointment.......the room we were given was so small and very dark. No place for your luggage, only a step under a high window that you could not look out. Traveled with another couple who's room was fine.... More

Dear Madam, you have booked 2 double bedrooms in a bed & breakfast. A bed & breakfast is a private house, not an hotel; all the bedrooms couldn't be the same. The bedroom of your friends was fine, as you say; your bedrroom was small, not dark. The InterContinental Hotel De La Ville, across the street, where you found "a... More

This B+B is superb! Located directly opposite the Hotel Hassler at the top of the Spanish steps, it's location is fabulous. It is in a lovey, clean apartment block and has 3 bedrooms. The room we had was a great size and had an en-suite bathroom, also of a great size. We felt very safe - it is a nice... More

We had booked and were looking forward to our stay at All'obelisco B&B in Rome. After finding the B&B ( which is very conveniently located to the Spanish Steps), the owner Giancarlo told us that our room was not available due to the illness of the previous occupant who could not be moved. However, he had gone to great trouble... More

All'Obelisco is a great place to stay in Rome. It's location can not be beat. The rooms are small but comfortable and have everything you need. Giancarlo is an excellent host and is clearly committed to making sure the guests have everything they need. The hotel doesn't have any amazing ameneties, just a comfortable place to stay while you explore... More

My girlfriend and I stayed four days in the beginning of January, during the sales. We agree with the other reviewers that the location is perfect and that Giancarlo is a great host. I won't repeat what they said but here are a few additions: We can also confirm that the rooms are a bit noisy so bring earplugs if... More

Amazing little place just across from the famous Hotel Hassler at the top of the Spanish Steps, no need to take a cab anywhere, just a short walk to the Trevi fountain or most anywhere in old Rome. Great rooms with very tall ceilings and A/C [very nice in the heat while we were there]. Very accomodating owner. Internet in... More
