I stayed here for 3 nights with some friends and it was great. It is quiet, the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. Francesco gave us some wonderful restaurant recommendations and was very helpful with helping us find our way around. It is a little out of the way, but it is worth it.

This hotel was very great to stay at. We had a big, clean room with a large tub, but the water temperature did not stay hot very long. This hotel also did not have a shuttle to the center of Rome. They offered to drop us off at the Metro subway station, but did not offer to pick us up... More

We, a family of four, stayed here for four nights in April, and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is quiet, which is one of the reasons we chose it. Our kids were already going late to bed with all the sight seeing, so we did not want a city centre hotel that would be surrounded by late night revellers.... More

stayed here for a week with a friend the hotel is nice and the staff are extremely helpful and polite. the only issues are it is out of town you have to get the 904 bus from outside the hotel (there are no paths and is a busy road so be careful) to cornelia station the tube into rome. you... More

Smack in the middle of a neighborhood just outside of busy and congested Rome, this charming villa was perfect for my family of four! We chose a small room, and while we would have preferred a larger space, we made it work since we really were only in the room to sleep! The breakfast provided on the first floor from... More

I rented a Car when visiting Rome. This Hotel happens to be a little far from main sightseeings, but it's in a quiet place. By car is 30 minutes - 1 hour depending on traffic. Very nice views. The hotel is in the outskirts of Rome so you can see green fields from it. Excellent customer service. Will be the... More

My friends and I stayed here for three nights in April. While it is a trek from the city center, the hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful and go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. Francesco was very helpful and a joy to talk to. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants,... More

The location of the property is terrible: you have to spend between 1.5 and 2 hours ONE WAY to get to the center using public transportation (with at least 2 transfers and 15 euros out of your pocket per person). Taxi will cost you 50 euros one way. On a map it looks like hotel is close to Leonardo da... More

Dear Chris, thanks for your review, even if I'm very disapponted with what you wrote. But your review is giving me the occasion to clarify some aspects. For first I would like to infor all of our guests that all the rooms are sound-proof at all. The walls between the rooms are made with 4 layers of plasterboard (I'm not... More

Property itself is OK (especially landscape), though walls are so thin that you can constantly hear your neighbors and people walking in a hall at night and in early morning. Never got a good night sleep. A bath is so tiny you even couldn't turn around. Plus I saw cockroaches there twice. Rooms also have no English speaking TV channels.... More

Dear Eli, thanks for your review. I consider all of our guest's reviews important to improve, day by day, our work. This is the reason because I would have preferred to know immediately about your complains in order to do something for you when you where here. In case of any problem simply ask. We cannot image there is a... More

Hotel Selva Candida has some really strong plusses and minuses. To start with, it's well well out of town. This is a real issue. If you are planning a Rome holiday, try and get a city center hotel. There are some good deals to be had, we had 6 nights for two at under 300 euros, but the travel was... More

Dear Alex, thanks for your very long and complete review, full of important and usefull information for all the guests and for us too. I have to apologize because, as you says, some our our staff didn't have care about you. Our idea of ospitality is completely based on the relation with our guests. We use to give all the... More
