We stayed at this hotel to celebrate my Husbands 60th birthday. This hotel is very central for all the sights, down a quiet back street away from the noise of the busier roads. The rooms are spacious and very clean, air con an added bonus. Breakfast very substantial, bar bit pricey, but it is a 5* hotel so to be... More

My wife and I stayed at the St. George Roma hotel for an a couple weeks. This hotel may be a five star hotel for Rome, but it is just so-so compared to hotels around the world. The bad: The bed was lumpy with visible depression where bodies lie. It was very uncomfortable. Noise traveled from outside the rooms to... More

If sophistication and style are what you look for in a hotel, the St. George is a great place to stay. The rooms are modern, clean, and the beds very comfortable. Windows open for fresh air and there is AC for summer heat too. The bathroom is small but very bright and nicely appointed with both shower and bath. The... More

The St George is a very comfortable relaxed hotel. The contemporary, elegant, décor is punctuated with traditional features from the original building. The staff are pleasant and most helpful. Reception staff go out of their way to provide good service. The breakfast buffet is sufficient and of a good standard, although it could be improved by maintaining the heat of... More

This was a very beautiful and clean hotel. Location was terrific for getting to the vatican, the tiber river, and all the major sites in the city. I just felt like the front desk staff were too snooty. The bed was so hard I didn't sleep the first 2 nights, the third night they did put egg crate or something... More

Staff were helpful and attentive. Hotel ambience was calm and restful. Bedrooms were spotless, shower room well stocked. Position was excellent to access many of the main tourist cites. We also experienced no noise, we were in a deluxe twin. No view from the window.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of April and were very impressed overall. A couple of minor niggles were that the room was a bit small and the hot elements of the breakfast were always very cool. Staff were excellent and very helpful and the only part of the Hotel we didn't see was the roof terrace which... More

This is a trip I will never forget - my first visit to this amazing city was absolutely perfect - we had clear blue skies and sunshine for our duration. I proposed to my girlfriend at the Trevi Fountain on our first night and she said YES!! It doesn't get much better than this. The rest of our trip was... More

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and soon it will be our 4th. Check in is always flawless. Staff at the front deck efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and met our needs and expectations. We never experienced any noise problems from the other rooms or the traffic outside as the windows are double or triple glazed.... More

Beautiful hotel, in a great central location. A most enjoyable stay. I recommend trying local restaurants more off the 'tourist trail' & central piazza's, we found some absolte gems at great value for money, although the language barrier was a struggle at times, we managed! I loved the 'Jewish' quarter on the other side of the river from the hotel,... More
