Very good location and near the Metro station. Its easy to get around from this hotel. Regarding the hotel , its clean and comfortable. As it is located slightly off the city centre, things and food can be less expensive here. There is a great seafood restaurant a short distance fromthe hotel, Soto Di Mare on Via Tunisi. Nothing had... More

This is the worst hotel in which I've ever stayed in my life. My room was set up as if it were a holding cell for people escaping from a dire situation. I wanted very much to escape from this hotel, but it was just too late in the evening and we were much too tired. The photos on the... More

Rooms were nice and clean and AC available, charge extra for clean towels each day, no breakfast, rooms are geared for students, has burner and fridge. Clean, nice roof deck. Lobby very small. 10 minute walk to Vatican Museum

stayed one night, very clean room, wonderful staff, close to subway and the best gelato (best price) around the corner) room is small (it is Europe) and has the smallest elevator (lift). again Europe. The free wifi was a bonus. we had a problem with our prearranged transfer to the cruise pier as there was strike (no bus or subway)... More

We have stayed several times. On site parking, small rooms but they are clean. The family rooms will sleep 8. Perfect location, 5 min from metro, Vatican Museum, close to shopping and restaurants. Now remember this is an old building and standards are different here. So look for clean (check), breakfast included (check), location (check), parking (check), clean (check) I... More

I recently stayed at hotel candia with my fiance, and we have traveled all over the world never once have we been charged for towels. He put a review on here about being charged for the towels and the supervisor's response was your girlfriend is dirty. No its called makeup. Makeup can be washed out of towels. We have a... More

The Residence Candia was our final stop on our European honeymoon. We spent one week in Rome and stayed in this apartment for the entire week. There were definitely some pros and cons. Pros: We loved the location. It is close to the Vatican and a Metro stop. The young lady that checked us in around 8:30 a.m. was very... More

Dear JessMess80, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experiences at Residence Candia and we would like to express our deepest concern about any less than positive comment about your stay. We are surprised because we were not made aware of these problems at the reception during your stay. The apartment we gave was a Superior Studio,... More

We were pleasantly surprised by Residence Candia. Our family of 9 stayed in 2 apartments for 6 nights. Both of the apts were fully furnished with ample beds for sleeping, the kitchens were completely stocked with pots ad pans, plates, glasses, coffee mugs and coffee maker, and lots of silverware! The apartments were super clean, the air conditioners worked wonderfully.... More

Positive. Location, good safe area, close to the Vatican, nearby foodstores. Kitchenette. Good space in room. The helpful staff in the reception, the cleaning and the technician. Negative. Frontdoor let in noise and if we had people running in the corridor it would be disturbing. The outer room, of our two, wasn´t a choice really for a light sleeper. We... More
