I have just returned from a 3 nights stay at Imperial Rooms in Rome. The rooms are huge, huge ceilings, nice bathrooms inside, clean, fresh towels everyday. The rooms are more like private apartments than standard hotel rooms. Rooms felt safe, the owners and staff were welcoming and friendly and happy to help. This hotel is the perfect base for... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here from 26th feb to 1st march. We arrived at the hotel at around 11am which was before the check in time of 1pm, but the hotel staff allowed us to leave our bags there until we could check in, which was really helpful. The staff were very welcoming and helped us with getting around... More

Excellent service, really nice staff, clean and nicely furnished room with a view of the Colosseum. however, if you want to go to sleep before 2 am, use earplugs. I sang along to "Euforia" (sweedish Eurovision winner 2012) not once, but twice while trying to fall asleep. Apparently, romans party on mondays aswell. Al real shame, because everything else about... More

We stayed here for a week and were incredibly but pleasantly surprised by how lovely this hotel was for the price. So close to the Colosseum and 5 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated, with a real vintage feel. I would advise requesting a room facing the back, as the street... More

Me and my partner stayed here end of July 2012. The room we got given was on the back so we got no view! There was also noise at night from the bar. The staff were nice and could speak and understand English. Taxi service to the airport was great. The rooms could have been cleaner. The prices from the... More

We found these rooms on Google maps and the location did not disappoint. The rooms were clean and tidy, the family staff were welcoming, polite, helpful and friendly. The taxi service provided to the airport and back was spot on and generally we had a great experience staying here. The rooms were quiet at night and waking up to the... More

I spent almost a month in Europe and stayed at Imperial Rooms from 5 to 11 April 2012. Prior to my arrival, I stayed in a 4-star hotel in Switzerland. Although the room was much bigger in Switzerland, the service was rather disappointed. Imperial Rooms is right next to the Colosseo and the ticket booth of ATAC (Note: one way... More
