We stayed here for two nights on a Trafalgar tour. We had requested a room with a bathtub and got a shower. We were told that we could not be moved until the next day because the hotel was full. On the next day we asked for the promised room change. The Saturday desk staff denied all knowledge of the... More

...I guess the Eurostart will do. I stayed there for 2 nights. The location is ok, quite near a subway station (Mazzoni) and near S. Giovanni cathedral which is nice. Rooms are not really 4* as they are pretty basic I would say more 3* but clean. At the end of the day it is all a question getting what... More

Booked through last minute.com. won't use them again. They need to check out the quality of accomodation on offer. Room size for family of 4 didn't say the kids bed would block the wardrobe or minibar. To access these you had to keep pulling the beds out. As such didn't bother putting clothes or suitcases away. Minibar was useful for... More

We were on a Trafalgar Tour and this was one of the Hotels specified for our stay. Stayed 2 nights here. The Hotel itself is located very conveniently. Close to all attractions as well as a superstore just about a block and a half away. Good to buy snacks, wine, juice/pop, etc. Staff are very helpful and polite and spoke... More

We chose this hotel based on many positive reviews touting it as a great family hotel. However, after actually staying here, I can't imagine that all those great reviews were about the same hotel I just suffered through. There are a couple of positives: 1. It's centrally located (about 10 mins from the Colosseum) 2.The breakfast is plentiful 3. The... More

I was very cautious about booking this hotel at the very beginning. Some review about stolen guests' properties had discouraged me to book this hotel as the first option for our family vacation. Eventually, we found out that our hotel was far too distant from the main attraction and it has forced us to make an impromptu booking with Eurostars... More

A friend of mine and I decided to head to Rome for 4 days. After looking at pictures, reviews, price, location, etc.. we chose to stay at the Eurostars St. John. Overall we were very pleased with this choice. The hotel staff was friendly, spoke English, and very helpful. The rooms were very clean, big on European standards, but the... More

We stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel is modernly decorate. It looks like a 5 stars hotel walking in. It is 2.5 blocks from the metro station and a quick 10 min walk to the Colosseum. The staff is very helpful in directing us where to go and speaks very fluent English. Their breakfast was excellent with all sorts... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in June 2011. After reading the tripadvisor reviews regarding stolen properties, I was a bit scared but this was the only hotel I found that was modern looking close to the sights and affordable. I was sooooo glad I booked it. Only 10-15mins walk to Colosseum and Forum. 1 min away from the metro... More

Saint John's in Rome is located in a very quiet street at night, but on daytime , it is also located next to a school and sportscenter. However it didn't give me a bad feeling. Breakfast was excellent and the jacuzzi in the bathroom very pleasant and relaxing. There is no restaurant in the hotel. Other services, cleaning, towels, etc; ok.... More
