Arrive to the hotel to find it closed but with note on the door asking me to call the owner. He will be back in hour... lucky some resident open the door to us.... we left our things near the door and went out... lucky all was there once we been back. The room is pleasant - we took bedroom... More

“Great Hotel to visit Vatican”

The location of this B&B-type hotel was incredible. We were in the family room (St Peter's) and could see the Vatican. The metro was about three blocks away and there was a tram which stopped in the Piazza below. St Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums are both in equal walking distance. We stayed for 4 nights early July 09. This hotel was recommended by an organization which normally finds great deals. OK, it was last minute and maybe the pickings were slim but there were so many disappointments we wish we had known as it would have been worth it to pay more for a different hotel. “Great Vatican Location”

This is a very small with a perfect location if you want to stay by the Vatican. It is only about 15-20 minute walk to the shopping areas. Secure, quiet and very charming. Looking over a square and close to a great market and great dining.

We just returned from a weekend in Rome. I went with my two teenage daughters for the weekend. We were looking for a B&B in a good location that was clean/safe and affordable. Something generally unobtainable in Rome. The Residenza Risorgimento is a small 6 room B&B located 1/2 block away from the Vatican! This nice little place really fit... More
