Despite confirming when we arrived the staff weren't around to let us into our room. The room was in a good location but it wasn't cleaned properly - we found dirty clothes shoved into a corner. There is a little kitchen but you'd want to be crazy to use the filthy utensils they give you. When we were leaving they... More

I just arrived in Rome, with my wife and all of our luggage, then we couldn't enter the building. Luckly, someone from the building opened the door and we could enter the place. But there's no reception, just a number to call. A neighbor helped us and called that number, she said the staff would arrive in 15 minutes. We... More

We booked here for a 4 night stay in November. The location is faultless. You are literally 100m from the Pantheon and surrounded by many restaurants, bars and coffee shops. You can walk to most of the main sites of Rome within 15 - 20 minutes. The reviews for this property have nevertheless been mixed and I can understand this.... More

Location is great and that is the only virtue. There is no reception, so you have to call them for anything and that is expensive if you are on roaming. We were there for 4 nights, but there was no room cleaning service in all those days. We were put up in an attic type room which was not very... More

However imagine having the Pantheon in your front yard. Words can not express the awe I felt by stepping out the front door early in the morning and there it is, the Piazza Pantheon! I virtually had the place to myself. A handful of merchants were there preparing for their day, but no tourists. Then in the evening my wife... More

I stayed five nights in the end of june,2010. I got tips from the staff about what to do/places to visit. There is no reception -you have to call the staff and they will show up to meet you. The rooms are ok. You will be living 50 metres from a hotel that charges 250-300 euros for the night. I... More

I stayed here during mid-June of 2010. I know alot of people will stay here at Al Pantheon con Thomas Mann regardless of what is written because of the great location, but I'll just relay my experience and the reader can weigh for themselves how they want to proceed. When we arrived, we expected to pay by credit card because... More

Overall our stay there wasn't half bad. However, what bothered me was the lack of repect the empoyees showed to the customers. At first, they didn't have the room we had booked, and put us in a two room apartment without AC, when outside were at least 35 degress Celsius. They let us stay there for two days. I say 'let'... Bad: the worst ever bed mattress I've ever seen, absolutely uncomfortable to sleep. Room was tiny and not clean; very hectic checkin; even though we specified our time of arrival and were on time. Good: Location, Location, Location. In general would try to avoid this place, though it has excellent location

After waiting a while for the owner to arrive, I led into the building and had to climb 4 flights of stairs before reaching the B&B. My single room was spacious, had a double bed and a clean bathroom. All these things were heaven after staying at campsites on the earlier part of my trip. This B&B was nothing specia,... More
