The name of a great artist is not enough to make this hotel a great hotel. Our room was spacious enough but there was no air conditioner, the room is heated by a radiator that we could not control, so we could warm up with only a blanket. The hair dryer did not work, as well as the bathroom lights...

The hotel is quite conveniently located. Unfortunately, the breakfast is scarce.We were informed their own restaurant is open only after summer as Urbino is more visited from September onwards by schools or for conferences.
At first I found this hotel unappealing but it grew on me although it was pretty much deserted when we were there.
Very outdated with candlewick breadspread and one of those tiny lifts, but the rooms were spacious and we found the position useful to just park the car and walk into town without having to enter those narrow steep...

Simple, plain hotel, could do with some updating but cheapest three star in town. Pleasant view from balconies at the back (see photo). If you go during term time, there are two schools behind the school which can be noisy around 8 am and 12:30 pm.
Shower not very powerfull, we had a twin room with rather small beds. Linen...
