The reception was friendly and helpful. The garage was good. Good breakfast with lots of goodies. The location is ok. You had to walk some distance to get to the old town. Some parts were not so nice to pass when it began to grow.

What a great value And an easy walk to the train staion and/or the city center

This is the best compromise between price and value. A hotel located close to the city center of busy Bologna. Quiet and clean with all the hotel facilities one requires. The price is more than fair. Would book it again next time I am visiting Bologna.

When you book, don't confuse it with other Best Western hotels in Bologna (there are at least three). This one is some 2 km outside the city centre, with rather modest rooms (it's being refurbished, but the bargain deals on Venere get you older ones, I suppose), but free parking. This is your average hotel. It neither exceeded of failed our expectations. Our room was nice, the staff was reasonably helpful, and the continental breakfast was good. The city center is roughly 15minutes away by foot, which is a rather nice walk if you enjoy wandering around by foot.
