We stayed in one of the apartments run by the hotel in the next building. Our Apartment was clean, small, equipped OK with a nice bed, wifi and large modern bathroom. The kitchen was really a hot plate built into a countertop and the refrigerator was a mini bar stocked with their items that was inconvenient for cooking or keeping... More

We loved the location and ease of access! It is located in a quiet street very near to one of the main squares. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, just what you need for a few days break. I suppose they could do with a bit of modernizing. Very nice bathroom and shower with all the necessities. It was... More

This review is rather late but better late than never! I stayed here in late August of last year. The hotel is very conveniently located and was beautifully cool during the very hot weather. We had continental breakfast every morning which was fairly standard. The staff were excellent and we were provided with a plethora of literature about the city... More

Al Cappello Rosso is a wondeful boutique style hotel just around Piazza Maggiore which is in the heart of the old city.It is very easy to walk to the train station and it takes only15 min. We stayed 4 days last week in a very modern and comfortable room with a clean bathroom. The breakfast was basic with some hot... More

Charming boutique style hotel just off the main square. Excellent service, decent sized room and great bathroom. The perfect hotel for seeing the historic centre of Bologna as everything is within walking distance with the added bonus that you walk through the main square on the way to and from.

This hotel has a very good location only a few yards from the piazza maggiore and 5 minutes from the airport shuttle stop. Our room was good, a very large bed left little room to move round but then city centre hotels often are tight on space. The bathroom was smallish as well but fine and everywhere was spotlessly clean.... More

The front desk staff are professional, welcoming, service oriented, friendly and helpful. They are what made our experience such a positive one. The room was comfortable, the bathroom spacious, the ambience quiet. The location of the hotel is within easy walking distance to all center city venues.

We stayed in one of this hotel's apartments when traveling with our family this Christmas; we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Although the apartment had only one bedroom, the bedroom was large by American standards. In addition, there was a large living room that included a table that would seat 8, a sofa bed, and chairs... Excellent location, as others have pointed out. We have been in Italy before during winter and rooms can be rather chilly, but this was a positive exception. We had a "Superior" room on 4th floor (401) with large and comfortable twin beds. There was no noise from outside nor from inside the hotel. Staff was kind and helpful.
