The Hotel is well located. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor with views of the tower, which was very nice. The room was relatively spacious and clean. The bathroom was a shower and had a fan a little noisy. The bed consisted of two single mattresses placed side by side, a point which is less positive. In... More

If I had paid a fair price for this hotel I would be happy, but I paid a really inflated price and it was not worth the money. The room was tired, the hot water took an age to come through the shower, I could hear the next door guest and her conversations. This hotel was a rip off -... More

Management and Staff The receptionists all are very friendly and speak good English. On arrival we left our luggage at the reception because we were a little early to check-in. The receptionists are all helpfull. They help you finding the information you need about bus or train. We needed to do our check-in to our flight online and the receptionist... More

The hotel is in an ideal location, close to both centre and train station, just round the corner you can find several restaurants. Rooms were clean and well kept, eventhough cleaner threw away a can of DUFF beer we wanted to take with us back home. Breakfast was fine. Receptionist were very helpful and we had a great time

I had read mixed reviews about this hotel but we decided to take a chance, as we were only staying two nights and the price (including breakfast) was excellent. The hotel was midway between the train station and the main square so we were able to walk around easily. Rooms were large in comparison to other 3* hotels we’ve stayed... More

Hotel is located right in the middle between train station and historical center of Bologna which is really comfortable. One needs no more than 10-15 minutes of waking to get there. The hotel staff speaks English and is very helpful. Particularly I want to thank a front desk clerk Rodrigo who did his best for me and my friend: he... More

Bologna is a city off the tourist route but why this is so I cannot imagine as it is a vibrant, historical, wonderful city. The Hotel Holiday is a great base very convenient to the historical centre with warm and friendly staff and a wealth of local knowledge to make your stay even better. It is a cheap and cheerful... ideally located in the centre of Bologna, close to all the shops and restaurants and in walking distance from the railway station - breakfast was simple but good - rooms were spacious and clean (stayed in two different rooms spread over different days) - friendly and helpful staff - would stay there again

The location is great, only 300 meter to via dell'independenza, which is one of the most important avenues in Bologna's Center and you can arrive walking from the bus and the train staion, is like 800 meters walking like 6 or 7 blocks from the stations to the hotel, the street where the hotel is located is small and can... Wasn't expecting too much from the alley it was located in, but it was very central so that was good. However inside, we found it was great. Unlike every other receptionist we found, the chap on the desk responded to my broken Italian with Italian rather than broken English. The room was tremendous. We had a triple room - a... More
