“Beautiful villa and friendly hosts”

My husband and I stayed at Villa Fausta just before Easter this year (2013), and can thoroughly recommend Villa Fausta. “Not so quiet!!!”

The traffic and very loud motor scooters were so obnoxious I could not sleep. Even though the house is surrounded by trees, it is very close to a busy road. If sound bothers you, I would not recommend staying here. We stayed on the third floor and taking luggage up the stairs was quite a challenge. No eating is allowed... More

“Wonderful hosts, nice location, but short beds & not non-smoking”

This place would easily get 5 stars BUT for 2 complaints we had: We slept in the ground floor room, which has twin beds with wooden head & foot boards. “Stay Longer!”

Whatever length of stay you might be considering, extend it! Trieste is truly fascinating and your hosts Nicoletta and Sergio are most welcoming and informative. Villa Fausta is absolutely charming, and PG Tips (for all you English out there) is available at breakfast!
