We're staying in Levanto, but while visiting Monterosso this morning we had a coffee and soda on their little patio with a perfect view of the sand, sea, and village. The waitress was delightful and I actually got ice in my cola without asking. She also brought a little plate of cookies. What a great hotel in a perfect location.

It would be impossible to be in a better location. on the beach, 30 second walk to great food, less than 5 to the train, ferry boat, and entrance to the trail to Vernazza. its pricey for the accomidations, but you dont come to cinque terre to hang out in the rooms. we had a great experiance. 5 minute walk from train station right on the beach at the town. Nice to hear the sound of the surf. There is nothing bad to say about this place. The staff were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was well done and they made sure we had something before we left very early in the morning.
